emmasi Posted December 12, 2006 Report Posted December 12, 2006 What? What did I say? "Crack-pot schemes?" Come on, even you've gotta admit that he was acting insane over Zoe's return. That was kinda the point... I got nothing against Peter, other than the fact that he was a vehicle for Tracey... *shudder*. Why oh why did anyone waste precious electrical impulses on putting her name into print? Why???
Oxidizer Posted December 12, 2006 Report Posted December 12, 2006 Oh. My. Freakin. God. You did NOT just say that! I can definitely see you being attacked by the fangirls now. I can see why you don't like Tracey but that's only because we never got to see the real her! If they filmed another episode in between 4211 and 4212 we would've gotten a kickass explanation with flashbacks and everything! (at least that's what I hope would've happened..) Tracey could've been like - if not worse then - Zoe. Agreed, it would've made more sense for Claire to be the accomplice, as it would've explained how Zoe escaped the factory blaze undetected. BUT! Tracey and Zoe are just so much better. In a way it's kind of good that they left it up to our imagination to decide what their relationship was all about (although that wasn't planned, that was the monkey's lazy writing). I prefer Zoe/Tracey as a couple as opposed to Eve/Sarah.
~Lynd~ Posted December 12, 2006 Report Posted December 12, 2006 You're right but poor Pete....I guess he'll always have a screw loose, going after his son's ex...but i know you like Amanda! I was quit nice about it Andy!
emmasi Posted December 12, 2006 Report Posted December 12, 2006 The only thing better about Eve/Tracey than Eve/Sarah is that Eve was in control of Tracey. Sarah was in control of Eve. Therefore, if Eve is your sweetie pie (and she is) you'd want her to be in control, not the hapless lapdog that she was for Sarah. I wonder, do you think her revenge was on the people that killed Sarah, or was it an act against Sarah herself, because Eve realised on a subconscious level that Sarah was only using her to get to the people that "killed" Felix? I mean, if Sarah was truly satisfied with taking Noah's life, she woulnd't have turned the gun on herself, would she? Maybe Eve was just reacting to Sarah choosing to use her and leave her... by finishing a job that Sarah never really wanted to start in the first place. Maybe Eve was taking revenge agains SARAH, NOT Summer Bay! Woah... o_o
emmasi Posted December 12, 2006 Report Posted December 12, 2006 *Dusts hands* Another day, another killed thread.
Oxidizer Posted December 12, 2006 Report Posted December 12, 2006 That's a pretty good and complex theory. I don't understand why people are saying that she was ever specifically targeting those involved in the siege. The way I see it she was pure and simply out to get the entire town. You could argue that she befriened the 'gang' as they were involved but only a small select few were. Most of them had left or disappeared or even died. Sure, she couldv'e befriended them to get more info on what happened, but at the end of the day she was out to get anybody in the town. There was only like four people from the siege left and they weren't harmed unless it was collectively as a community or if they stood in her way or bad-mouthed Sarah. This year was definitely solely about getting revenge on Peter for ruining her plans. Everything that she did was to drive him insane and make things very difficult and uneasy for him. And then when she heard about Jack and Martha's wedding she decided to get arrested so everyone would think it safe so she could then have her 'big finish' and final attack on the town... but even then her main focus was on Peter.
emmasi Posted December 12, 2006 Report Posted December 12, 2006 Well.. she kind of was taking revenge on the seige people. If I remember correctly (and I probably don't) the seige consisted of Leah, Peter, Hayley, Scott, Dani, Flynn, Sally, and maybe Jesse. So, the first thing that happened was the plane crash - aimed at Leah and Dan, Peter's brother. Zoe also stole that tape of Josie and Marc to screw with Jesse's life. She targetted Sally, which I believe is because the siege happened in Sally's house - I think. Dani was gone, so... nuts to her. Scott and Hayley were the victims of the paternity thing, as was Kim, who scorned Zoe at his own risk. Therefore, I'd say that the people in the seige WERE targeted. The only other "victims" were at that fancy dress place - that was a challenge to Peter, as was the Miss Groper thing - and I suppose Rob, Tash and Kim being "stalked" at the start of the year, but that turned out to be Ric anyway - nothing to do with Zoe. Of course I could be completely wrong but... eh. It's a theory. Oh yeah, and Marc... but he just knew too much
Oxidizer Posted December 12, 2006 Report Posted December 12, 2006 Good points. I just don't think she was targeting the siege victims because there just wouldn't be a way for her to know who was there. She could've asked but that would've drawn suspicion. Then again she did bring up small things in conversation (off-screen) as she said whilst revealing everything to Sally that 'she heard people say that Sarah said 'tock tock' on the night of that siege'. Hmm.. it could go either way.
