Her heart knocked hard against her chest as she heard footsteps getting louder and louder as the person they belonged to approached.

The door opened and she flinched, hiding behind the covers, cowering as the silhouette of a man stood in the doorway, his figure shaded and outlined by the hallway light. "Eve! What’s all the commotion about?" He snapped aggressively before going deeper into the room.

Thirteen-year-old Eve Jacobsen winced as he pulled the covers back angrily, revealing a soaked stain through her pyjamas. "You dirty bitch!" He roared as he slapped her across her face and pulled her out of the bed. "Put some clean clothes on NOW! You’re too old to be acting like this." He snapped.

I ended up having to call them again yesterday because it had been four hours and I had heard nothing back, they were all "Well, we can't get in contact with him, we'll call you when we find out what's going on." Guess what, they still haven't called back and it's been a day. Why can't these c*nts get their act together? Jesus, all I want is my stuff back. FFS!
