Set Number 5. I think the text is too plain, and the colouring and cropping is just a bit too...safe. I can see the story that's being told, and I like it, but I think something a bit more exciting could be done. So basically I think they're all a bit on the safe side, when the maker could have been a bit more daring.

They are all great though.

Set number 3. I think the colouring is a bit too bright and too heavily contrasted. Plus the third set appears to be a bit unclear IMO.

#1 - Basically I think the text overwhelms al three icons. Although the pics in the middle have been altered the same brush used as a border makes them a bit similar. Also the text tells the story - which I know was kind of the point however we don't need it spelt out for us, there needs to be some interpretation on our part.

#5 - I think all three icons are too plain and dull in their colouring, although the story is clear i think the colouring is off in all three i just think they could have been made a bit more brighter i.e. they seem dark to me and although i like the third icon being b&w and i like the red bit behind the text i feel the other two sets have better colouring as a whole.

#1- This was really hard, and it took some editing, but in the end I had to go with #1. I think that the effects on the icons are not original enough, but the concept is. I find the icons to have too much text. I think that this bunch of icons would've been better as an animated icon. Sorry.

#1 - The story is too obvious. Meaning, the icons are overwhelmed by the text. Its small, and violation was probably not the best choice of font because it becomes hard to read when too small or too cramped. Concerning individual icons, set one fails to capture my imagination creativity wise, as they all follow the exact same structre, same text, same brush used. The colouring on #1 feels too dull, the third, the yellow is way too emhapsised, bronzed even, which throws off the use of brown on the border. Finally, the colour of the text doesn't feel right.
