Indraa Posted March 28, 2008 Report Posted March 28, 2008 She just needs some storylines of her own. Sharni, Mark, Jess and Bobby have all had there own storylines that have allowed them to show off their acting talents (e.g.the HIV storyline, the prison/bullying storyline, the Dom obsession and drag racing/ affair with Amanda. For me Indiana just always seems to be part of other people's storylines or storylines that should be hers always turn into other peoples (e.g.break up with Ric became all about Cassie crashing the car, Beth dying, mainly focused on Kit and Tony, being washed into the sea became all about Lily being paralysed, finding out Dean was gay was all about Dean). The only big storyline she's ever really had was her bullimia and that always tended to be overshadowed by whater ever drama Robbie, Tasha, Martha, Jack, Sally or Kit was having that week. She has a great talent that's being seriously underused. I totally agree with you. She was most of the time a part of someone's issues. I really think it's time that the writes give her a next big storyline. I'd like seeing Matilda having her own LONG storyline. I would be great for Indiana's career.
kayla_renee Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 have just been reading this thread I am totally a mattie fan...bring on the BIG story lines
Danifan Posted April 6, 2008 Report Posted April 6, 2008 Glad to see Indiana/Matilda do so well in the Most Popular Character feature. Hopefully with the right amount of screentime and some better storylines she'll go all the way to number 1 next year.
Danifan Posted May 4, 2008 Report Posted May 4, 2008 Glad to see Indiana/Matilda do so well in the Most Popular Character feature. Hopefully with the right amount of screentime and some better storylines she'll go all the way to number 1 next year. Oh well, i guess that's never going to happen now!
Danifan Posted June 18, 2008 Report Posted June 18, 2008 I'm gutted she's leaving but glad to hear that she's been snapped up for a guest spot on a different show, maybe they've noticed what an assett she is even if the H & A writers haven't.
ness Posted June 19, 2008 Report Posted June 19, 2008 ^ Indiana said her leaving home and away had nothing to do with the h&a writers, it was her own decision to leave as she wanted to try something new to expand her acting career it's great she got a new role on that new show, even if it is only for one ep... the character sounds alot different to Matilda so it will be good to see her play someone so different! hopfully next time she get's a role it will be in a movie
rockagirl Posted June 19, 2008 Report Posted June 19, 2008 I'm still broken up about her leaving the show. She's easily my favorite character. She's been so boring this year though so i hope she'll get a big storyline before she leaves. Btw Danifan, what show are you talking about? Will she only guest star?
Anaya Posted June 19, 2008 Report Posted June 19, 2008 what show are you talking about? Will she only guest star? She has landed a guest role on the new show The Strip, also starring Bobby Morley(Drew) and Simone McAullay (Viv). You can check out the article in the News and Articles Section.
whispered_envy Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 Just thought I should let you know that Indiana Evans' guest role on The Strip will be screening tonight.
