I'm so hyper right now! My Mum ran the Flora London Marathon yesterday in 4:45:00. She was aiming for 4:30, but the hot weather and the fact that there was so many people (36500 competitors) meant that she couldn't go any faster. We've raised over £2000 for charity and I'm pretty happy. :D

I'm living a childhood dream tomorrow and visiting the ITV Granada Studios in Manchester as part of my Research and Development unit where I have to create a company profile - and I was surprised that 3sixtymedia agreed to it!

I'm going to interview the Director of Northern Resources for ITV programming (basically he runs the studios), and will hopefully get a tour of the site (they stopped the public ones years ago), which has been home to Coronation Street, Question of Sport, Soapstar Superstar, University Challenge, The Royle Family and tons of other shows.

Yay! :D

I did it! I made the bag for my first swap!

At first I was bummed out because I didn't have any fabric to make the bag, other than the oilcloth w/ coffee beans, but then I realized that I bought 3 lengths of curtain last Monday, on sale - purple, black and off-white/cream. The cream curtain proved to be a success and soon I was setting up the sewing machine.

Bag. Please excuse the horrible table cloth.
