That was great! Poor Jess. But I can see how Henry could be so baffled, it was a pretty outrageous question. I hope she tells him soon, looks like she'll have to tell now Can't wait.

Awwwww *Sobs* poor Jess, she felt so alone. I loved the Mattie lecture stance, that was written so well, I could just imagine it playing out, and then the tension and the anger and frustration Jess had towards Henry for not noticing... poor girl. Please don't leave me hanging, I wanna know what Henry is going to do!

(I actually really want to know if he'll even get it... some males *shakes head*)

Awww thanks you two, I'm half way through Family life now and then ill be going on my driving lesson but I'm going to be torn about which to update first this afternoon either this or Written In The Stars seeming they are both leaving you hanging.

Chapter Ten

Matilda’s P.O.V

“You’re what?” I stutter softly as I hear the words I’m late skip over and over in my head, “Jess what’s going on please let me help you” I say softly walking up to her and sitting down on the bed

“Oh Mattie I don’t know what to do” she says,

“well first of all we need to get you a test taken if you are late like you said we need to find out the truth and you need to tell my brother” I say as I wrap my arms around her rubbing her back softly as she cries in my arms,

“but Mattie he doesn’t want me” she sobs,

“he does want you off course he wants to be with you he loves you” I say shocked at her words,

“he doesn’t Matilda he told me he wasn’t ready for commitment Matilda he wasn’t sure what he wanted I only wanted us to move a bit quicker like you and Lucas and he wasn’t even ready for that how can I tell him that I might be pregnant,

“I’m sure he didn’t mean it trust me I know my brother he sometimes speaks before he has thought things through I know that better than anyone” I say remember back the events a few years ago when his words had hurt me more than ever.

Lucas P.O.V

“Henry what happened do you want to talk about it?” I say walking up to where he was sat in the sand, shortly after he had gone into see if Jess was ok we could hear them arguing and the next thing we knew Henry was storming out of the house,

“well I think I just put my foot in it again, Jess is jealous?” he says, why would she be jealous, jealous of who?

“but what has she got to be jealous off I mean you haven’t exactly been flirting with anyone tonight have you” I said confused,

“no Luc she’s jealous of you and Mattie she wants us to have what you two have but the truth is I don’t know if I’m ready for that I’m just out of college I mean I didn’t plan on settling down for a while” he says putting his head in his hand, and knowing Henry like I did I knew that he had likely to have told her how he felt and that she probably flew off the handle,

“ah and she took it the wrong way I take it and now she’s probably thinking that you don’t want to be with her” I say

“Yeah got it in one, she wouldn’t hear me out, but I’m not ready for engagement, marriage or anything like that yet” he says

“tell me Henry do you love her?” I ask him,

“Yeah I do I really do” he says,

“an would you do anything for her, would you be able to live without her?” I ask

“off course I’d do anything for her and if anything was to happen to her I don’t know what I’d do” he answers,

“then she is the one that you want to spend forever with your just not ready for the commitment yet, and I’m sure it will happen one day you got to be ready for it and trust me you’ll know when you’re ready to take that step but just go and speak to her you don’t want to lose her because you have been stuck out here talking to me” I tell him honestly hoping that I have helped him wanting nothing more than for him and Jess to sort things out for them to be as happy as me and Matilda are.
