Sam =) Posted May 23, 2007 Report Posted May 23, 2007 Needles I hate them I faint or throw up every time I get one I scream and I have kicked dr's before. I used to be scared of sharks and massive waves so I didn't ever go out to far at the beach unless it was calm but I'm over that and I love the beach now.
Guest [x]whacko[x]jen[x] Posted September 10, 2007 Report Posted September 10, 2007 I'm scared of being blown up in the mall. Weird...I know It's just something I'm scared of.
homeandawayfanforeva Posted September 10, 2007 Report Posted September 10, 2007 Clowns-I just hate them, scary faces....*shudder* Being alone- I just cant be alone, if I am I hold a broom just in case I hear a noise haha Silence- Worst ever fear...I sleep with a tv/radio on, always have music or if I cant get any of it...I talk to myself, I really freak myself out if it is silent. Spiders--Eight legged mutants, I swear they are out to get me.. Ghosts- I wanna see one, but then whenever I read ghost storys I go to the 'silence stage' where I have to have sound haha Thunder & Lightning- Just scary zappy light and sound which I hate Being enclosed- Like in a school bathroom or a small place--it's silent and I am usually alone..freaky Pigs-Too many dreams of being attacked by them, it's weird yes Dark-I should be able to sleep in the dark but I cant, I feel bad for my parents, my light is always on at night haha Mirrors-Too many bloody Mary stories..
xGlowingAngelx Posted September 10, 2007 Report Posted September 10, 2007 My 3 worse fears: Spiders - Apparently they like our house. And it's always either the bathroom or my bedroom they're in. The 2 places in the house I spend most my time in. It really annoys me. There was also one on the wall near the back door the other week, which was terrible, especially since I wanted to go out of the door!!!! Moths - I'm sure they're harmless, but still. We get them in our bathroom a lot in summer and I have a habit of always checking the bathroom for any when I go in. There was one in a caravan we stayed in a few years ago, but I zapped it with the shower. I felt bad after that Snakes - *shudders* EVIL THINGS! Absolutely awful. I fret that I'll find one in my bed one day. I'm not sure how that happens as you dont get many snakes around here, unless someone owns one, which I dont know of anyone. I also had a dream a few weeks ago that a huge snake was draped across the car door and I couldnt get out. It still haunts me today, lol. But yeh, they're my 3 worse fears. I cant choose between them, they're all as vile as each ohter!
xTiffx Posted September 10, 2007 Report Posted September 10, 2007 My phobia is totally irrational. Iam sooo afraid of olives!! Weird i anow but its just that whenever i see them i imagine choking on them and it makes me gag!! Olives Eurgh!!

stephyrose4 Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 BUMP I have some.. My worst one is cockroaches, if I see one I scream my head off, and I wont go near that room, until someone gets it out, They cant just sqaush it tho, it actually has to be chucked outside or wrapped in toilet paper down the toilet! Arrgh I hate them. Needles, I frekkin hate them so much! Death! As everyone is I suppose. Ghosts, I dont beleive in them, But I'm still scared! AND THE DENTIST! I HATE HATE HATE going to the dentist, it seriously freaks me out.
Siog Alainn Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 I don't have many phobias....well except crocodiles/alligators but living in Ireland, that doesn't bother me too much But I was posting to show this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G45s4GJslGI It's so mean, yet hilarious There's a few others too that are worth a look!
bexxx123 Posted August 5, 2008 Report Posted August 5, 2008 i must admit i hate the feeling when you squash a cotton ball but not a fear of them. last night there was a moth in my room and i was trying to put the glass over the top of it to put it outsde but couldn't get it closer than about 10cm away from the moth so instead i lay in fear that it would fly around my face in the middle of the night. also scared of the sea, but it only really matters on holiday because even though i live on the coast its only the north sea and its barely above freezing most of the year so dont need to worry about that because the only time i ever go to the beach is the very few days of summer we get each year.
bttb-rox! Posted August 6, 2008 Report Posted August 6, 2008 Well, it's even hard for me to spell my phobia, so I'm just going to give you clues so you can work it out. My phobia can be found on the beach, it moves sideways and it begins with a 'C'. Sorry, I just can't spell it. Basically, I hate them. I literally burst into tears if I see one on the TV and I have to turn it off straightaway. They make me feel physically sick. I HATE that I'm scared of them, because there really isn't anything to be scared about. But I just hate the way they move and I feel like they're going to eat me even if I just look at one on the telly. I was watching 'A Place in the Sun' the other day and some of them came on and I burst into tears and was shaking for about 10 minutes. However, I had a breakthrough when I was about 6. My brother went on holiday and brought me a plastic version to see if it would help. He fully warned me of what it was before he gave it to me and said that he would take it away the second I said I didn't want to look at it. Anyway, I looked at it for about 5 seconds before I asked him to take it away. Then I asked him a few minutes later whether I could hold it. Being the protective brother that he is, he said he didn't know whether it was a good idea. But I told him that I wanted to. So, he gave it to me and I was able to hold it for a few seconds. And for about a year after that, I was fine with them. I could look at them on the TV and I was even able to look at some on the beach without getting too freaked out. But when I was about 7 or 8 the fear came back when I was doing up my shoelaces near a marina and found a dead one right next to my foot. I screamed and screamed and screamed - much to the tourists' horror I'm sure! - and felt horrible for the rest of the day. I've never got over my fear of them since. So, that's my phobia .
