Hi I'm Lily,

Here's my question to you: What are you afarid of the most? Do you have a phobia/fear of something and what is it? Have you overcome it, or what techniques do you use to overcome that fear!

I'm usually scared of heights, cockroaches, public speaking.

xx Lily xx

I'm terrified of sharks. Like, just the thought of one or picturing one in my head makes me a little sick. I think it originated from thos episodes of Baywatch where there would be shark attacks. Then one weekend I watched Jaws 1, 2 and 3. It wasn't too bad. I didn't like it and had to look away fro most of the movie. Then a few years ago, it just became a major phobia ... possibly around the time I saw Open Water (which was a terrible movie BTW, even without the sharks).

I remember in 2007, the first time I went to Australia and we went to Sea World. I walked into the little underground aquarium, had a look at the wee fish, saw a shark swimming towards me and left lol.

I am **** scared of heights. Even if i'm not even close to the edge, I think I am going to loose my balance and fall :unsure:

When I went on the giant drop at Dreamworld, I was fine untill it started rising up and then I started swearing at my cousin for making me go on it hhaha, I'm so mean.

I'm terrified of anathesia....I get scared that I won't wake up and die.

Same, I'm afaird of being put to sleep by doctors and then not feeling anything, but knowing that someone is operating on me. Its a scary thought.

I have an irrational fear of wasps and bees. I can't be in the same room at one without freaking out. I think i need help

Also, public speaking. Even in front of my class mates i can't do it. It's ironic because i have a degree in journalism and did well in it. I think i just worry too much about what people think of me and need to get over that.....

Snakes. Huge fear. Totally irrational. But I really can't stand them. Even typing their name just now, creeps me out. Seeing them on the TV is enough to mess my head. I can't even watch them on tv, let alone being anywhere near them. I have never, ever, EVER been in the reptile part of a zoo because of these slithery, slimy, hissing, disgusting creatures. I never, ever will.
