Chapter 11 - Suspicion Georgia sat on the sand trying to process what Josh had said. She had never had a problem getting men before but she knew that Lucas wouldnt be easy. When he spoke about Matilda his eyes lit up, he was head over heels in love with her, how the hell was she supposed to seduce him. "Hi" Ric said approaching her "I just dropped that stuff round to Lucas's for you and Matilda invited us around for dinner tomorrow night do you fancy going?" "Sure" Georgia said flashing Ric a perfect smile. This may be a great oppurtunity to see is there was a weak link in their marriage, something that could help her get to Lucas. There whole plan depended on it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "Can I push him?" Henry asked Maddie "Sure" She said putting the pram in front of him, she laughed as Henry and Belle walked ahead of them taking it turns to push Adam. "They look like a proper little family dont they?" Lucas said grabbing his wifes hand as they walked to the diner. "Maybe they will be one day" Matilda replied. "Yea, Im glad its worked out for them, who would have thought it after everything that has happened to all of us." Luc said gazing out at the sea. "Oh look there's Ric, Is that Georgia with him?" Matilda said pointing a head. "Yea thats her" Lucas said. "Wow she is stunning" Matilda said slightly jealous that Lucas worked with this woman. "I hadnt noticed. Why would I when I have you" Lucas said kissing her. He could tell she was feeling insecure he guessed it was because she had only recently had Adam. To him it didnt matter though he would always think she was perfect. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Hi" Belle said walking up to Ric and Georgia "What are you guys up to?" "Not a lot, Im on my lunch break" Georgia said. "Do you fancy joining us for Lunch then" Henry said ignoring the look Ric was giving him, he obviously wanted to spend time with Georgia on her own. "Sure" Ric said sadly. "Hi Lucas, we are missing you at work." Georgia said noticing him approaching. "Oh and you must be Matilda" "Yea thats me. Nice to meet you" Matilda said trying to sound sincere, she had a feeling she really wasnt going to like this woman. She just couldnt figure out why. They ate lunch and the conversation between the six of them flowed easily. Yet Matilda couldnt shake the strange feeling she had around Georgia. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "You really didnt notice at all" Belle said to Henry as they entered there flat later that afternoon. "I have no idea what you are talking about darling" Henry said "Do we have to go over this again. To me it seemed like a nice lunch with friends." "She was definately paying more attention to Lucas than she was to Ric. Not obviously but enough to make me suspicious." Belle said getting frustrated. "Honey just leave it, you probably imagined it. She seems really into Ric. I understand if your worried about him none of us want to see him get hurt again after what happened last time but we cant protect him forever." Henry said "We'll see" She snapped walking off. She was going to watch Georgia like a hawk at dinner tomorrow night. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Georgia had studied Lucas all through lunch and really couldnt see a way to get to him. It wasnt until she had thought about the way Maddie and Belle reacted towards her that she suddenly realised that Luc didnt have a weak link but Maddie did, and she would use that to gain her advantage and eventually seduce Lucas.......

Great chapter, Belle and Mattie have got you sussed Georgia, poor Ric's going to get hurt again. He really is your whipping boy in this story Tash

I know poor Ric, I seem to make him the same sort of character in a lot of my stories and I dont intend to I actually like him. Maybe I will have to give him a fic of his own that has a happy ending. I know its been so long since I updated this oneI kind of lost track of where I wanted it to go, but hopefully that has passed now. I have written a few chapters more so should post either again today or tomorrow.
kase Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 Yay an update! It was great Tasha, I loved it...except Georgia of course. LoL, I agree with Kat about Ric being the whipping boy. I hope she grows a concious. And I love the fact that Belle has cottoned on. Can't wait to see where it goes.

It's good to see that Matilda and Belle cottoned onto her although it looks like the men except Lucas are to easily conned by her good looks. Great chapter I can't wait to read more.
