Reo Posted November 16, 2007 Report Posted November 16, 2007 Lucky You I could get my Mario game now,but it will be so much more fun playing it for the first time on Christmas Day.. lol I pick what I want for Christmas,as does my mum and brother..Its better that you know you are getting what you want and you are getting people what they want..Its the same when you are younger aswell, expect you are telling Santa instead of your parents Although we still hide the presents from each other until the day LOL I have all the PC Sims games,I think I am missing 2 Stuff Packs though..But I deleted the game from my computer for more space for Team Fortress 2 and Half Life 2..And I accidently deleted 15000 of my Sim downloads..So I am not really thinking about the Sims now..Even though I dont want to play the game now or in the distant future,I am gutted I lost all my downloads for when I do want to play it again. I have seen the Sims 2 Castaway which is advertised for the Wii aswell, but I will have to look into it more before I decide..The Sims usually advertise what is not in the game and they are really misleading.
xGlowingAngelx Posted November 16, 2007 Report Posted November 16, 2007 38 days! Been counting down since August. I hope you're not blaming me too, Shan? I can't believe how fast the last few months have gone. Funny thing is, I have my 18th birthday before then (The 12th), but I'm thinking more about christmas.....
Cerise Posted November 16, 2007 Report Posted November 16, 2007 AMY! YOU STOLE MY BIRTHDAY! Aaaanyway, what I came in here to ask... Yes. What games do you recommend for Wii? I'm getting Wii Sports and The Sims and Mario Galaxy and Sims Castaway, but because I always get Money from my extended Family, I'm wondering what games to buy...
Reo Posted November 16, 2007 Report Posted November 16, 2007 Well the first game I got with it,because I could only afford one after buying the Wii and not including Wii Sports because it comes with the console..Was Zelda: Twilight Princess. Its a great game,I recommend that. The others I have are Tony Hawks Downhill Jam,I only recommend if you like Skating and/or Tony Hawk games.. Resident Evil 4,which I havent got far in,but its a shooting game,so you have the whole point the control like a gun at the screen.. And Harry Potter: Order of the Phoenix.. If you like HP then its great, but there isnt so much gameplay in it..The castle is HUGE! and it is exactly as it is in the movie, minus somethings outside, the size is different and you are alittle limited to where you can go..Alot of the doors as shut aswell, but its still alot to search through..Its the only game where the Griff Common Room looked like it does in the movie..You do have alot of mini things to do,but the main game you have to find people,do jobs for them and find another person..Then you have to deal with Malfoy and do duels and stuff..Which with the Wii controls are alittle annoying,I was throwing the controls up and up and up and it still wouldnt do what I wanted it to do..Plus it sort of went really fast, you did some things and then a clip would just speed by..I missed Sirius dying because I blinked! But its still a great game if you love HP. For Christmas I am getting Mario and probably Simpsons..If you have more than 1 controller and plan to have a family or friends sit down with it,then I think Raymans Raving Rabbids 2 would be a great game..I have seen many videos and its funny and alot of different weird mini games..I was going to get Guitar Hero 3,but its £60..Thats 2 games worth for just one. This site has a list of Wii games, screenshots, movies, gameplay videos and reviews. You can also buy old games and have them downloaded onto the Wii,you buy them on the Wii shopping channel, you can either use a credit card or buy a Wii Points card..There are old Mario games and Zelda games..All sorts of stuff.

Its a great game,I recommend that. Yeah, I was considering getting that game, it looks great. The others I have are Tony Hawks Downhill Jam,I only recommend if you like Skating and/or Tony Hawk games.. Hee, I love Tony Hawk games! So fun! Resident Evil 4,which I havent got far in,but its a shooting game,so you have the whole point the control like a gun at the screen.. I'm obsessed with shooting games, so I'll probably get that one. And Harry Potter: Order of the Phoenix.. But its still a great game if you love HP. I have that for PC, It's a great game but I've had it since the Summer and I'm just totally stuck on it... and I'm only looking for the DA members right now! I have big problems with Colin's Camera, that thing in the owlery and finding all the gargoyles! I agree, the castle is huge, but it's a great game to play when you're bored and/or up for a bit of a challenge... If you have more than 1 controller and plan to have a family or friends sit down with it,then I think Raymans Raving Rabbids 2 would be a great game..I have seen many videos and its funny and alot of different weird mini games..I was going to get Guitar Hero 3,but its £60..Thats 2 games worth for just one. RAYMAN! I LOVE RAYMAN! I am so looking that up and getting it... Thanks a lot for that, and the site!
Reo Posted November 16, 2007 Report Posted November 16, 2007 The Tony Hawk game isnt like other Tony Hawk games..For one you cant choose his character(I dont think you can anyway..I made my own and never saw him along with me in the game) but he is voiced and seen just before the races.. Its as it says in the title, its a Downhill Jam..You start at the top with 3 other people and you race to the bottom, there are people in the way,all sort of buildings and everything..You can also collect the typical SKATE icons..Been awhile since I played it..You have to lean the control left or right to go left or right lol, thats fun but hard to spin because of that. Zelda is great and a long game,so will take up alot of your time. I completed HP Took 9 hours, which is why I am disappointed in it,games should last longer. I havent really played Rayman, but I do love the Rabbids

Reo Posted November 16, 2007 Report Posted November 16, 2007 lol Got alot there Just a quick thing, you know the Remote and Nunchuck are seperate items? You need both to play most games.. There is also a game called Wii Play(Mini Games) which is a game that comes with a free Remote and Nunchuck..Although I havent seen them for sale for awhile, but it costs the same price as the Remote and Nunchuck..So you basically get a free game. Do you have Sims 2 Pets? Thats a great game,my favorite because of the Pets, but they take up alot of the sims day..But still fun
Cerise Posted November 16, 2007 Report Posted November 16, 2007 I love Sims 2 Pets! The dogs are the cutest things in the world!
Reo Posted November 16, 2007 Report Posted November 16, 2007 Me too! I could never just make one pet, like 1 dog or 1 cat..I had to have both and then another 1 and possibly 1 more to make it even Then the in-game pets...Fish,birds and Hamsters.
