Cal Posted December 21, 2008 Report Posted December 21, 2008 But then you wouldn't have the joy of spending over 500 euro on peoples presnts Now I hope I didn't completely go overboard with the amount of stuff I got this year, I couldnt help myself If I had my way, Christmas wouldn't exist around me.
Cerise Posted December 21, 2008 Report Posted December 21, 2008 We totally should have cancelled Christmas this year though... recession and all that ****.
solaris Posted December 21, 2008 Report Posted December 21, 2008 Finished all my shopping today...concluding in the process that I'm allergic to people. Every eejit and their flipping brother were out today (yesterday was much worse though), my good will has taken a swallow dive off a 30 meter bridge!
SAB Posted December 22, 2008 Report Posted December 22, 2008 went to the shops today and yes it was freaking packed. Worse yet is trying to find a parking spot quite a few hot chicks though
teeann_x Posted December 22, 2008 Report Posted December 22, 2008 It's ironic how all I see on everything news is about this economic crisis and how it's affecting everyone on this planet, that no one is spending but I come on here and see people going all out on Christmas. You's must all be rich.
Mez83 Posted December 22, 2008 Report Posted December 22, 2008 I can't wait for the big day now. It means the mad rush at work will be OVER.
~Zoe~ Posted December 22, 2008 Report Posted December 22, 2008 Ive got my christmas presants allready, we have had them early because straight after christmas on the 10th January we have my cousins wedding, so instead of christmas stuff, we have wedding stuff all over the house ive just had clothes, money, dvds and jewellrey for christmas.
Laura Posted December 22, 2008 Report Posted December 22, 2008 I finally finished my Xmas shopping today I was starting to get worried that it would never get done
Barbara Posted December 22, 2008 Report Posted December 22, 2008 I finished my Xmas shopping too. Now all I have to do is wrap everything. I just had to buy one CD. The shop has 8 check-outs and there was only one open. The place was packed. I spent 30 minutes in line for one CD. And some people can be really rude and selfish.
Cal Posted December 22, 2008 Report Posted December 22, 2008 And some people can be really rude and selfish. Oh, I hate people in shops! I was in Butlers a few weeks ago. I was buying some Chocolates as Christmas gifts. I waited in line. And then this lady waltzed in and stood in front of me. So when the guy behind the counter said "Next!", I skipped her and paid for my things. If she starts that crap, she needs to learn the queue-skipping rules. If you skip, expect to be skipped.
