suzannelgnz Posted December 26, 2008 Report Posted December 26, 2008 Well Christmas for me wasn't really christmas, since I am here in Wellington and with both Mum and Dad stuck working it wasn't worth me going home.But... I got a christmas baking parcel with a christmas cake (made especially to my favourite recipe), Afghans, Shortbread, Shrewsberry Biscuits, and Belgian Biscuits. (but I missed out on marshmallow balls and Apricot Balls, because Mum made them on Tuesday night). German Confectionary that I miss and can't get here in Wellington (apart from Marzipan Kartoffeln). $125 from Mum, Dad, and Oma. Another Vego cookbook from my GreenParents (i'll probably get more if I go home) and a Book Voucher from my younger Bro. + NOTHING from my older bro (but It was some what expected because he owes me a bit of money, and I don't talk to him anymore because I just can't trust him). Oh, and I'll be getting more once Mum sends up the rest of Oma's present
Barbara Posted December 26, 2008 Report Posted December 26, 2008 I got a christmas baking parcel with a christmas cake (made especially to my favourite recipe), Afghans, Shortbread, Shrewsberry Biscuits, and Belgian Biscuits. I'm glad to read evryone had a nice day. I hope the members who haven't posted in here also had a nice day. I got: - CDs - DVDs - bath/shower stuff (which smell really good) - a chocolate fondue set - a ring - books - money (some money will be spent on a new mobile and probably clothes during the January sales) Christmas Eve was great. We had lots of fun and ate a LOT of food. On Xmas Day, my sister and I waved our parents goodbye because they were going on a holiday. That sucked a bit because it's the first time we've spent Xmas without them. But we still had fun and my sister cooked us a nice meal. She's a great cook.
