Kip really thinks he is too talented to be on Home and Away, this is the third interview I have read of his and in all of them he does this.

You can believe everything you read, journalists twist it to make people want to read the article. I've not read any (not even this one as I'm watch something atm and can't concentrate) articles interviewing Kip but I loved Scott and I guess I'm bias but it's the character that should be appreciated because no-one's perfect...the same has happened to Mischa Barton- people have started slagging of Marisa and her as an actress because she wanted to move on (or whatever happened) and now she can't say anything about the OC without it being twisted round.

Actually, people always slated Mischa as an actress and the character of Marissa. Largely due to the fact that she isn't that great an actress (at least she wasn't on The OC) and her character was incredibly annoying.

I agree with you that the media twists things, but these interviews are in Kip's own words, and if he'd been wildly misquoted I'm sure he'd have done something about it by now. Also, a lot of people disliked the character of Scott regardless of whether they like Kip or not. All characters have their fans and I completely respect your opinion, but the majority of people concede that Scott was a pretty weak character.

Sheesh. If he said all that, it might have been better not to! He pretty much insults the entire cast and crew of H&A, about the script process: "It's of a much higher standard", about the acting, "the performances among the cast are much higher (in England)"?! I'm not sure that his own performances were among the best on H&A. It's sad to hear him looking down on it so much, I so hope that isn't a general feeling among the cast. I actually gave up watching Casualty quite a while ago, and largely because I found too many of their cast unlikeable, even irritating.

He sucked as an actor and he isn't good looking. I am surprised he actually has a job, especially being the pig headed self centered bastard that he is.

Burn in hell you piece of crap. There are more deserving actors who should be stars.

um I beg to differ, he's gorgeous and he is a good actor, but then I guess everyone is entitled to there own opinion it's just a shame you couldn't express yours in a more articulate way. It's extremely offensive and rude.

Wow, that's incredibly harsh. What'd he ever do to you?

I never really liked Scott in Home and Away - the PaternityGate fracas stripped Scott of any remaining likeability, IMO. He's okay in Casualty; however his character doesn't seem to do much, but maybe that's just bad writing as opposed to Kip Gamblin himself. And the memories of Scott are too strong for me to like him much at the moment. Also, in interviews, it has been noticed that he comes across as arrogant and self important. So consequently, I'm not a huge fan and would be inclined to agree with what Kee Kee is saying...BUT...I don't agree at all with how it has been said. It is one thing to say "This person has done X, Y and Z, and so I don't like him", but to be so nasty about someone you've never met, only seen on the TV and in the media, is unnacceptable IMO.
