KristinaLeighTaylor. Posted July 13, 2008 Report Posted July 13, 2008 I like American Accents, anywhere Cali. I love Aussie accents, their really sexy. England I like Geordie (Danny McFly.), I love London and probably anywhere seasideyyyy.
Luc Posted July 13, 2008 Report Posted July 13, 2008 I love the Southern Accent - especially the Tennessee, Louisiana, Kentucky, and Georgia ones . I also love the Brooklyn/Flushing accent (especially when mixed in with a nasal voice ). I also love the Scottish, British and NZ accents. Oh, I can't forget the Californian one too (it's a bit weaker than the rest of the US )
Natalia Posted July 17, 2008 Report Posted July 17, 2008 Generally - and I'm allowed to say this because I am Australian - I HATE Australian accents. Everybody drawls and speaks so slowly. Ts pronounced as Ds, dropping half the syllables out of every word, ending everything with 'ya', 'cutseying' everything (lappy for laptop exxy for expensive, for example), turning every vowel into 800000 vowels (like pronouncing 'i' as 'oooouuuiiieee') - I could go on!! It's such a turnoff. But then I have lived in the UK and I only like certain UK accents. And there aren't many American accents I like either! And don't get me started on New Zealand or Canada or South Africa! I think English is just generally an ugly language. Strange, but I only like it when spoken but people with European accents - especially French accents. I am very hard to please. But then, it's not just the accent: I am just generally very picky when it comes to fancying someone. I've never been one to chase after a person just because I think they look okay. Maybe I'm just a prude.

vale4eva Posted July 17, 2008 Report Posted July 17, 2008 but I don't really like the Liverpudlian accent. *shudders* Me neither! lol i must say though, Italian accents are my weakness And mine! When I went to Italy, this Italian guy who worked in the hotel had this stunning accent. And when he spoke English to me, I nearly drooled The Aussie accents nice, except when it gets too harsh and almost droany :S Its like some are too bored to actually put the effort into talk normally lol Not all Aussie accents though! Some are lovely Overall, Italian is the best in my opinion !
emmasi Posted July 17, 2008 Report Posted July 17, 2008 I've probably said it before, but I'll say it again: South Africans are creepy. I base that solely on the accent
Jamey-Maria Posted July 17, 2008 Report Posted July 17, 2008 I always thought the South African accent was quite cool. I've got to hear tonnes of them over the last 3 days and this World Youth Day stuff. crap And I have to say the french accent is so sexy! They blew kisses when they were talking to us so that's proabably why as well Still love the accent, or perhaps it's the language, whatever I just loved hearing them talk! lol. Polish is cool also.

I base that solely on the accent Arent they quite well-spoken though? The few people I've known who lived in SA had quite nice accents and seemed quite articulate ^ But, creepy, as in, they sound pervy ... or?
