He's got a major crush/obsession kind of thing with Kim because he was the first person to give him the time of day as far as I know. Oh and his Gran was in hospital because he gave her some pills so that she would be out of the way until he had made some friends. But his plan backfired and she died, poor Charlie! I was really disapointed it just ended up going the way of all stalker-esque storyline with someone being tied up and held hostage. It could have been so much more than that.
