QUIET ACHIEVER Posted December 25, 2007 Report Posted December 25, 2007 As a recent convert to HotDad and his antics, I thought I'd voice my thoughts. What has been HotDad's best storyline of the year? The storyline and its aftermath of Beth's death. Best scene? Tony playing with Jazz's hair - very sensual. Worst moment(s)? Not paying enough attention to Lucas and focusing more on Geoff. Getting involved with Naomi Preston. Encouraging Sam to be with Jack. Hottest scene?? The beach scenes where Tony is holding onto his surf board and has his shirt on or off. What would you have changed about HotDad this year? Absolutely nothing - he had his haircut and that was a blessing. How has HotDad developed this year? I guess that HotDad has been given two strong storylines - dealing with Beth's death and the affair with Naomi Preston. These two storylines, in my opinion, were the catalysts for HotDad obtaining frontline status and an even bigger role rather than being under used. With each storyline he has had, he's grown more as an even more hotter HotDad. If you were a writer, what would you have planned for HotDad next year? Strong storylines to display HotDad's necessity to have a bigger role to play in the show and not to fade into oblivion again. To show more scenes with Rachel, to develop the friendship between them and to eventually see a close bond and/or relationship eventuate. More scenes with Irene and Alf. They are all strong characters, role models and (sometimes in HotDad's case) good at giving advice. To (eventually) heal the rift between Aden and HotDad. More gym workouts, sporty stuff and rugby coaching too. To remember the first anniversary of Beth's death with Mattie and those all those who are around for the occasion and who knew Beth. And anything else HotDad related you want to talk about!!! To see more of HotDad on his Sydney Weekender segments!
MasterHolden Posted December 25, 2007 Report Posted December 25, 2007 What has been HotDad's best storyline of the year? The storyline and its aftermath of Beth's death. Best scene? Tony falling out with Lucas. Worst moment(s)? Preventing the Jack and Martha reunion. Getting involved with Naomi Preston. Having an affair with Jazz. Hottest scene?? The naked calendar with Lucas, Ric and Drew. What would you have changed about HotDad this year? Wouldn't change a thing How has HotDad developed this year? He's learned how to look after orphans. If you were a writer, what would you have planned for HotDad next year? I would plan to have him do the naked run as part of a forefeit in Strip Poker as punishment for preventing the Jack and Martha reunion organized by Alf and Irene. And anything else HotDad related you want to talk about!!! Not really.
-Karen- Posted December 27, 2007 Report Posted December 27, 2007 Yay!... the HotDad thread is alive and well!!! Thanks for your input guys! And anything else HotDad related you want to talk about!!! To see more of HotDad on his Sydney Weekender segments! This has been mentioned before but it's not something I have seen, living thousands of miles away and all!.. How many segments has he done? And what have they been about?
bttb-rox! Posted December 27, 2007 Report Posted December 27, 2007 And anything else HotDad related you want to talk about!!! To see more of HotDad on his Sydney Weekender segments! This has been mentioned before but it's not something I have seen, living thousands of miles away and all!.. How many segments has he done? And what have they been about? I've never heard of Jon doing any presenting, now i'm most intrigued . I can imagine him being really good at that, he's got a fab sense of humour and that's always good if you're a presenter .
-Karen- Posted December 27, 2007 Report Posted December 27, 2007 I vaguely recall reading about him reporting on a cruise months and months ago but I haven't heard about anything since. I asked at the time if anyone could upload it but I never got any response. It's probably one of those programmes that people don't seem to record. EDIT: I found some stuff >> http://www.visitnsw.com/Captain_Cook_Cruises_P2595.aspx << >> http://www.visitnsw.com.au/Eating_Out_Fathers_Day_p2520.aspx << It doesn't tell you much though!
bttb-rox! Posted December 27, 2007 Report Posted December 27, 2007 I see you've been doing some digging, Karen, good for you! Yeah, that doesn't give away very much, but it's cool that he does a bit of presenting here and there .
QUIET ACHIEVER Posted December 27, 2007 Report Posted December 27, 2007 I think that Jon has taken over the reporting spot left vacant by Tim Campbell on Sydney Weekender. I hope that he will do some more segments for the show as he is an asset to that show - just like Tim was!
bttb-rox! Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 I've just read the funniest thing from an article someone uploaded on HAAC. Question... What don't fans realize about filming the show? Answer from Jon... Beach scenes are cold. Luckily, a grimace can look like a smile and pass for, ''I'm having a great time...I just can't move my jaw''.
natalie102 Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 Tony does have a big story line coming up when he has to save annie from her drinking problem
Miss Tan Tan Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 Annie is 13 years old. How is a 13 year old girl with religious beliefs going to have a drinking problem. Not true sorry. I know that for a fact.
