I'm not sure about that one spunky, I'm just not feeling it! I would like to see Tony with someone younger, possibly in their early thirties. Martha has been mentioned a few times but I have a gut feeling nothing will happen there. I had a thought once about Tony getting together with Sally but I can't see that happening either!

maybe Kim will realise he wants to be with Kit and Rachel could find love with Tony! Then she could have babies with him!!

Well it wasn't my imagination, it was Tony kissing Mattie's head in Friday's episode!! HotDad was at his most supportive best all episode. I loved how sweet he was taking care of poor Mattie I have posted some caps in the pics and screencaps thread but here is a taster:

There's a bit of hope for a reasonable amount of a Tony storyline in the coming weeks in Oz. TV Week this week has an article about a storyline involving Martha and Tony's name is all the way through it. It also states that

he is now Martha's boss so he must have taken over from Beth at the Surf Club (on top of his role at the Gym).

I really hope he does play a main part in this storyline and

saves Martha from herself!(aka. her 'downward spiral') Who needs Jack? Get HotDad on the case!

I think it goes without saying, (but i'll say it anyway!) how lovely and supportive Tony was again with Mattie today. He plays the fatherly roll SSSOOOO well! Also did anyone notice how he kind of held Sams hand to say goodnight? Not sure if this was sweet or a bit touchy feely for a boyfriends father?! I'm undecided on this one

However, even taking all this into consideration, all through the episode I kept thinking... yes, you've guessed it...... get a flamin haircut Tone!!

Where has everyone gone?!

Looks like week 8 could be a good Tony week. He gets 2 mentions in the new spoilers which is rather unusual so I have high hopes for some good HotDad action!

As for the Beth situation: (spoiler below)

It is looking likely she won't return judging by the spoilers. I don't think I am allowed to go into it too much here but it is a bit of a double edged sword. Jon may get some great scenes to do but Tony would be devastated by the situation and I don't want to see him unhappy

OK, I'm sadly VERY excited about the Tony spoilage. I think we're going to have two pretty good Tony weeks coming up. Having him take on his own and Beth's role is working out terrifically - he's getting way more air time. Me likes!

Well, seeing as I regularly check this thread, I thought I would join in with the chat! I totally agree with what you guys have been saying about Tony needing a storyline. I also agree with you, bodwod. There are a few good Tony weeks coming up. I actually live in England, but I'm always up-to-date with the latest stuff that's happening in Aus .

I loved his scenes with Maddie, he's so caring and considerate. Still watching out for that haircut though...
