-Karen- Posted August 19, 2007 Report Posted August 19, 2007 I'm so pleased to see more people joining 'Team HotDad' as emmasi puts it! Speaking of which, come on emmasi, step into the wonderful world of HotDad, it's a warm and fuzzy place to be!! Anyway, it was a great Tonyage week last week... I hope this coming week is just as good, or better. I think he is in Mondays episode and then 1 or 2 episodes at the end of the week. I am really liking the relationship between Tony and Jazz. It is good for both of them that it's not too serious at the moment. It was very sweet of Tony to try and get the others to like her but I liked how he was amused at the whole thing when she was telling him what happened. He doesn't seem to let the fact that other people don't like her bother him which is a good thing. I think it will be interesting how he will handle it if people start to tell him she's no good. I quite like how Jazz is around him, she seems more genuine somehow and I really do think she likes him a lot. I bet she's not used to guys like him so she seems to be embracing his warmness. From what I can gather the kind of guys she usually goes for wouldn't be interested in sitting on a sofa and playing with her hair!! I just really hope she is genuine as I don't want to see HotDad's heart broken.
-Karen- Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 Great HotDad eppy today! He really showed Jazz who is boss! There was soooooo no need for her comment about Beth so I think he was right to send her packing. It is a little sad to see their relationship end so soon (if it has) but the way I see it is that he can move onto someone who is going to give him the respect he deserves. I loved his line about not wanting to be with someone like her at this point in his life.. the question is who is Miss Right for HotDad? Rachel? Sally? Someone new? Or is he destined to be a singleton for a while?? Just one other quick note.. Hands up who wants a Tony Holden All points Massage???? ME ME ME!!
bttb-rox! Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 The episode is downloading as we speak and i'm quite excited about all the HotDad/Jazz action . Its a shame that they seem to have broken up...I thought they were really sweet together . Then again, if Tony didn't feel that it was right then it was probably the right decision. To be honest, i'm quite happy for him to stay single for a little while...I don't think there is any need for him to be paired up with anyone...but this is Summer Bay were talking about . Rachel is definately my first choice for a Mrs HotDad, i'm just not sure whether thats likely or not!...but lets hope so .
bttb-rox! Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 Just seen the episode and I thought that Jazz was waaay out of line. I think the 'I'm not your wife and i'm not Beth' line really shocked Tony, and i'm not suprised, it was a pretty harsh thing to say. The Tony Holden all points massage was funny!!...and Tony and Jazz actually kissed!!!!...I couldn't believe it...I had to rewind a couple of times because I thought I was imagining it . The scene were Tony was chopping those carrots up made me laugh actually because it reminded me of that scene in ep 4135 when Lucas said 'What did that lettuce ever do to you?' It was a different vegetable but it still made me laugh! Anyway i'm off to screencap!!...
bodwod Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 What a nice little burst of HotDad we've been getting lately. I'm so glad Mattie has moved back into the house and am looking forward to more fatherly moments from the HotDad with Geoff moving in too. I've just moved house (what a job that was!!! 180 boxes!!!) so I missed Thursdays and Fridays ep - did I miss any Tony? I saw last nights and have to say I loved that he didn't fight Jazz, just said "that's enough" and then dumped the selfish tart. Nicely done there.
emmasi Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 Don't mind me. Just noticed this at HAAC: A former fire fighter, Sivewright opted for a career change in acting after turning 36. Thought some people in here could use the mental image
Closer Each Day Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 Don't mind me. Just noticed this at HAAC: A former fire fighter, Sivewright opted for a career change in acting after turning 36. Thought some people in here could use the mental image I'm fairly certain theres a joke there to do with a fireman's pole and Jon Sivewright but I won't go there.
-Karen- Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 ^ You had to lower the tone didn't you! I have been resisting making a comment like that for a long time! I missed Thursdays and Fridays ep - did I miss any Tony? Did you miss Tony??... Hell yeah!! Let's put it this way, you need to download Thursdays episode! It had everything, HotDad being sweet with Jazz and also playing action man saving the day at the farm!! So get yourself over to the Episodes and Clips section... quickly! Don't mind me. Just noticed this at HAAC: A former fire fighter, Sivewright opted for a career change in acting after turning 36. Thought some people in here could use the mental image Oh trust me mental images have been processed a million times! The problem is if we actually saw him in the outfit it might be too much for us to bear! The SES uniform already sends Bodwod into a spin!! By the way emmasi, I knew you wouldn't be able to resist the lure of the HotDad for long!
Closer Each Day Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 ^ You had to lower the tone didn't you! I have been resisting making a comment like that for a long time! I was never going to let a perfect opportunity to make a racy comment about Tony pass me by!
-Karen- Posted August 23, 2007 Report Posted August 23, 2007 May I just say that HotDad looked seriously hot in his white shirt tonight! I don't think I've seen that one before! Then to top it off he had a lovely pair of black pants on.. a great improvement on the washed out jeans he always has on! OK.... swimming into slightly deeper waters now..... the storyline with Annie today was good and it was nice that Tony was so worried about her emotional state. It was good that he turned to Irene for help too. Although it would have been interesting if Tony had to give Annie the periods talk himself! I don't know why he had to trot off to the city to meet his 'supplier', why couldn't he have stayed and did the parent thing? He does it so well!
