bttb-rox! Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 Bodwod is back with us!!...*jumps up and down*. I hope you had a great holiday . Whilst there is a HotDad drought in Australia, there was a flood for us in the UK today ...both Five and Five Life episodes containing the best...worse Tony/Lucas moments I have seen in a while. I was just saying in the Five Life discussion thread, that I felt a bit sorry for Archie, having to listen to them shouting so loudly! At one point, I found myself almost pressing mute on the remote, because Lucas was having such a go (and vice versa may I add) at Tony! Okay, I am going to be very blunt here...what an earth was the surfboard floating scene about?! It was nice for HotDad and Jack to have a chat but I just couldn't stop laughing because....one, the camera wasn't focusing very well so I started to feel slightly dizzy....two, at one point I thought both Paul and Jon were going to float off into the distance...and three...what was the point?!! ...that little outburst I had there was purely for fun btw . I thought the scene was actually quite a good one as we got to see Tony open up a bit more and we also got to see Jack looking out for HotDad...which can't be a bad thing .
Mistified Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 I remember seeing a behind the scenes video of that scene, or a report from someone who was on set or something, and that was Paul O'Brien's first ever, and I think only so far, water scene! It was a bit pointless alright, them bobbing around, struggling to stay afloat and looking verrrry cold too!

You gotta love the HotDad bobbing up and down.... in the water! It did make me feel a touch seasick though I have to admit! I loved the bit where Jack said something like "does it make you feel like a stud?!"

You do make me laugh, Karena. I have to agree, the bobbing worked for me too although the scene was a little over exposed. Then again (and since we're in the gutter I might as well stay there), I'm happy with a little HotDad overexposure!! Thanks for the welcome back, guys. I had a fab holiday driving the Great Ocean Road along Victoria's coastline - absolutely beautiful. I watched a few older eps last night and damn, that hair was shocking. I think I got used to it a little bit as it went along but looking back it looked bloody awful. He honestly looks 10 years younger now.

Is it really him or have the writers given him a personality transplant??? The way he forced Lucas to go to the party and grabbed at his arm was a bit OTT. Their battle today did make me realise how stubborn they both are.... I think Beth commented on it in an episode back when Lucas went off the rails last year. I usually love HotDad's white shirt but it did seem a little tight today. He also looked rather uncomfortable when he was sitting with Alf in the back garden. The crossing the legs thing looked a bit 'strange'! Unfortunately that is probably HotDad's episodes over for the week now. Boo hoo

Yeah, that scene where Beth says that she knows where Tony gets his stubborn streak from, was during the Lucas rebellion phase. To be honest, HotDad looks a bit bored in that screencap . There is a certain look I think some people have, when they are trying to listen really carefully to someone but you can tell that they are soooo not interested ...but maybe he wasn't bored...then again Alf doesn't seem to be to enlightened by what's going on either!

Nevermind, I have very high hopes for Thursdays episode and from piecing together bits from the spoilers I have come to the conclusion that an apperance is imminent. And I have a feeling it will be good stuff too! I better not be disappointed! Do you hear me writers!? I think we've had enough disappointment with the lack of HotDad SES action this week!
