Am getting a tad hacked off with this contest now, I will post the entries I did get tomorrow. Rosey and Charlotte both forfeited so the final battle will also be posted tomorrow. This isn't an attack on anyone in particular but if you sign up for this one you should try and see it through to the end or it falls a bit flat like this one has. Ok, seeing as only 2 people bothered to vote, one either way and I am away for the week I have to announce this contest a tie! Cat and Jen congrats! A little piece of advice - leave it a few weeks before restarting this, or you too will get as despondent as me! Seriously, I would consider a break because the lack of interest astounds me particularly after that whole debate about how awful it would be to reduce the amount of contests! Any way, don't want to cloud your victory well done!

I'm sorry more people didn't vote. If it helps, I think Cat's was better than mine. Anyways, I can see why you would want a break. The lack on interest/entries/votes seems to be a common theme through all the contests at the moment. I don't know why though, since people were quite passionate about when the idea of closing certain contests was first brough up. I don't mind having a break for a while, but if Cat wants to host then go right ahead! If you need entries I'll normally have a go.

I understand all of this fuss about wanting contests but no one entering them or voting but not everyone can enter contests all the time. It is not their fault if someone decides that they don't want to/can't enter or vote.

To be honest I don't think having a break from contests or hosting will do any good at all because that will result in to no one coming into this section and finding out when the next contest is and there will be no entries. So, I think it would be better to carry on as normal but try and make the contests more exciting and fun to enter Instead of moaning about the lack of entries and the lack of votes

I haven't been about in a while so I don't really know whats going on but it kinda sucks that theres gonna be a break from this.

I haven't seen Cat around in a while, but I'd be willing to host if people want to sign up. I was holding off to see if any interest picked up. So, if you want to be part of the next One-on-One just reply to this thread, and depending on how many people we get, I'll see whether it goes ahead.
