Chapter 19

Matilda’s P.O.V

“Matilda you need to eat something for our big night that’s ahead of us” I can hear him say to me,

“I’m not eating” I say fighting back my tears refusing to look at him as I keep my eyes shut,

“If you won’t eat willing then fine, ill make you eat, if you don’t do what I want Matilda I will only make it worse for you” he says evilly slamming the door as he storms out of the small room I’m in, opening my eyes as he leaves I burst into tears unable to hold them back any longer, all which I want is to be back home with mum and in Ric’s arms.

Ric’s P.O.V

“I’m back off out” I say to Sally as I rush through the living room not wanting to waste another minute in searching for Matilda, I’d managed to get some sleep although not a lot I couldn’t stop thinking about her, my mind was full of thoughts about what she is going through and what could of happened, my dreams haunted by the reality of what she is suffering at that hands of that beast,

“Ok Ric, I hope everything goes well” Sally says as she sits at the table feeding Pippa,

“Bye Ric” Pippa says waving at me,

“bye” I say waving back as I rush out the door.

“Come on we got to get back out there” I say to Tony, Jack, Lucas and Kim “we need to find her we know what Callan is like we need to get to her” I say starting to walk briskly into the bush land the rest of them hot on my tail, “how’s Beth coping?” I ask making conversation and concerned about how Matilda’s mum has been coping stuck at home waiting for news,

“not very well, she’s been on the phone to everyone though, Kit and Henry are going to head down later today, and we are going to keep Scott and Robbie posted if we don’t find anything today then they mentioned getting a flight over they both wanted to be helping the search to find their little sister” Tony explained,

“well hopefully we will find Matilda today and they won’t have to worry about joining the search” I say not wanting to give up on looking for her.

Matilda’s P.O.V

“OW” I scream waking up as I feel the sharp prick of a needle hit my arm, I squirm struggling with the ties of the rope that are wrapped tightly around my wrists, “what have you done?” I scream at Callan looking at him as he holds the needle that he just injected me with,

“Well Matilda you made it clear you wasn’t willing to do stuff freely so I had to result to doing things the hard way” he says looking at me evilly as he moves closer towards me.
