That was very dramatic Jackie, and still intense, despite the fact we know they've actually found Mattie... and Ric was still so sweet, not wanting to leave her side... *melts* I'll have one Ric to go, thank you very much. I hope everything is okay, and I hope Mattie is okay... but, I imagine going through that not once, but twice, must play with your psychie a bit. I cannot wait to see what happens... please don't leave me waiting too long~

Chapter 22

Ric’s P.O.V

“Right can I ask everyone apart from Beth to leave the room please” Rachel says softly reluctantly I follow Tony and Lucas out of the room dreading to think about the tests that Matilda is going through right now will show, its then when I’m waiting I hear her screams followed by her cries she’s awake I rush to try and get into her room but Tony holds me back,

“I know its hard Ric but she has to go through these tests with just her mum in you heard what Rachel said, we will be able to go back in as soon as the tests are finished with” he tells me, so I sit and wait tears streaming down my face as I hear her cries wanting nothing more than to be with her right now.

Matilda’s P.O.V

“What’s going on?” I cry waking up as I feel myself being prodded and poked in my most private areas,

“shh Mattie calm down love its going to be ok” mum says looking at me her eyes full of tears,

“We found bruising on your thighs Matilda it is necessary for us to carry out a rape test” she says looking at me,

“but he didn’t rape me, he didn’t, he drugged me and tried to force himself on me but he didn’t rape me, I woke up when I felt the stab of the injection being forced into me, he had his pants down ready to attack me I knew I had to get out I kicked him in the balls and jumped from the window and ran please stop the tests” I cry tears streaming down my eyes as I go over what happened and hate being prodded and probed like this,

“ok Matilda calm down ill stop, Beth can I just ask you to leave the room for a minute I need to speak to Matilda alone,

“is that necessary” mum says her voice raised,

“Its ok mum” I say letting her know that she can leave, although I was scared I knew that with Rachel in the room that I would be ok that nothing would happen to me.

“Matilda I know that you said you wasn’t raped but I found a trace of semen, are you positive that you wasn’t raped” she says softly looking at me concerned,

“I’m sure, I slept with Ric the night before I was kidnapped” I say softly looking down, thinking about that perfect night, wishing that I could go back to that day wishing that everything had not happened,

“ok ill let everyone back in now, Matilda I would like you to have some counselling sessions with me, what you have been through is awful and knowing what you have been through this year I’d like to keep an eye on you I don’t want you to feel you need to follow that path again Matilda, what happened isn’t your fault, Callan is going to be caught its going to be ok now, your safe here” she says softly looking at me before she opens the door as my mum, Lucas, Ric and Tony rush into the room,

“Ric” I cry as I see him,

“Oh Mattie I was so scared” he says throwing his arms around me.

Guh! That was awesome. Poor Mattie... she needed that hug that she finally got from Ric. And he, he needed it more, probably. Amazing Jackie... I really felt for Mattie, it was so sad when she woke up, poor girl, she'd already gone through so much. And the snippets of Beth were perfect too. This story is wonderful! I can't wait for more!
