1 day later

So many nights I sit by my window

Waiting for someone to sing me his song

So many dreams I kept deep inside me

Alone in the dark but now

You've come along

“Oh my god Ric I can’t believe you’ve done this for me, I mean New York wow this is out of this world” I say as I look out of the window at the surrounding sky scrappers as the plane hits the ground of the runway,

“Anything for you baby I love you so much” he says leaning in to kiss me,

“I love you too” I say before I kiss him softly.

“Oh my god baby it’s snowing” I say squealing as I look out of the hotel window

“Wow you look stunning baby” Ric says as I turn around to see him making his way out of the bathroom, dressed in a tux

“you don’t look so bad yourself” I say smiling as he walks over to me, wrapping his arms around me as we look at the snow,

“Come on then lets get going we have reservations” he says taking my hand as he leads me away from the window.

Rollin' at sea, adrift on the water

Could it be finally I'm turning for home?

Ric’s P.O.V

I can’t help but smile at her as she licks her lips as she finishes the last bit of the chocolate sundae that we had ordered, she was happier than I had seen her in a long time all the thoughts about what had happened seemed to have been erased from her memories for now, and I was hoping that after my surprise tonight that she is even happier than what she is now,

“What?” she says looking at me confused,

“I’m just thinking about how lucky I am to have you that’s all” I say smiling at her.

“Matilda?” I say twirling her around to face me her hair bouncing around the small white snowy particle sticking to her hair make her look even more beautiful,

“yeah baby” she says smiling at me widely,

“Matilda I know that we are only young but with everything that’s happened I think we have grown up so much and I can’t bare to lose you Matilda, that’s why I need to do this” I say dropping to my knee in the snow covered grass of Central Park.

Matilda’s P.O.V

I think my heart is about to jump out of my chest I can’t believe this is he proposing to me oh my god I can’t believe this I think to myself as I see him drop to his knees in the snow

“Matilda Hunter will you marry me?” he says producing a small box from his pocket and opening it to show the sparkling ring,

“Oh my god Ric Yes ill marry you” I squeal happily,

“I love you” he says slipping the ring on my finger,

“I love you too its beautiful Ric” I say smiling.

When I think back

On these times

And the dreams

We left behind

I'll be glad 'cause

I was blessed to get

You were right there for me

“Oh my god Ric tonight has been amazing thank you for doing this for me” I say as we get to the hotel room door,

“That’s my pleasure” he says and before I know it he’s lifted me into his arms,

“Ric what are you doing?” I say laughing,

“carrying you over the threshold” he says as he fiddles with the key while still holding me in his arms,

“that’s when your married silly” I say laughing softly as he finally gets the door open,

“I know it is but I wanted to do it now too” he says as he places me down on the bed,

“I’m sure you did” I say looking up at him,

“Oi misses I did!” he says a huge grin forming on his face as he falls down on the bed and starts attacking me with tickles,

“Ric stop it” I laugh.

“I love you” Ric says leaning down kissing me passionately I kiss back loving the feel of his lips on my own, his tongue against my own, his hand moves up against my skin his hands wandering up my leg, all my fears flood back to me I tense up,

“I’m so sorry Ric” I say jumping up from the bed and running to the bathroom locking the door behind me I slide against the door tears falling from my eyes.

“Mattie please open up what’s wrong baby let me in” he pleads with me I can hear the concern in his voice he sounds desperate with worry,

“I can’t do it Ric I’m so sorry when you touched me like that just then running your finger up my leg it just reminded me about what happened about what Callan did to me” I say breaking down in tears against the door,

“shh Mattie please its ok he isn’t going to hurt you and you don’t have to say sorry ok, please let me in Mattie” he says softly, I stand up reaching for the lock and unlocking the door falling into his awaiting arms “shh baby its ok now I promise you” he says softly rubbing my back gently.

“Baby you know that it doesn’t matter to me I just want you to get the help that you need, I am happy to just be with you, It doesn’t matter to me that nothing came of that I don’t want to use you, I love you Matilda and I’m going to be with you whatever it takes to get you through this, however long I have to wait because I will always love you and I can’t lose you” he says moving his hand across my face and wiping the tears from my eyes,

“I love you too Ric, I just need you to hold me” I say looking at him sadly,

“I’ll hold you forever” he says wrapping his arms around me and holding me closer.

All the fluff! I'm on fluff overload, seriously. NY! Man, I want a boyfriend who takes me to NY to get over an almost rape. I was thinking it would be somewhat along the lines of a white sandy beach, but I guess she has one of those at her disposal already! Lucky Mattie! And Ric was so adorable with her after she freaked out (rightly so too!) And ohh, a random (very young aged) proposal too! Its all happening now, isn't it? Can't wait for more!
