Pete just looked at Dan who was in shock just as much as Pete was.

“How?” Dan asked

“I don’t know that was Jack he wants us to go to the station!”

As Pete and entered the station they saw Drew sitting down on the chair upset, Pete ran over to comfort his son.

“Dad I found him just lying there, there was nothing anyone could do. He had been shot 3 times” as he lean't into his dads arm crying.

Pete hugged Drew as tears built up, “Pete I’m sorry” said Jack as he walked up to Pete.

Pete just looked in and angrily said "Jack I want who ever killed Jason found, I don't care what you have to do I want him found"

Dan just sat in silence as he was in a daze; he knew that Claire and Pete was something to do with Jason’s death. The guilt was really building up, Dan didn't no wat to do.

“Can I go yet?” asked Drew

“Yes” replied Lara as Pete and Drew left the station.

"Jack I want toi be the first to know" he demaned as he got up to leave the station.

“Dan are you coming?” asked Pete as he saw Dan just looking into thin air.

“Erm I will meet you at the house. I need to talk to Jack”

Jack looked up as he watched Drew and Pete leave and Dan enter the office,

“Jack there is something you need to know”

“When Jason was in hospital he told me that their was a reason why he came to the Bay, As you may know that Pete was engaged to his sister, Senior detective Claire broody.

I asked him who attacked him and he said I have put my relationship with my sister on the line because Pete deserves to know the truth, I carried on asking him a few more questions but the only things that I could work out was by him coming to Summer Bay and telling Pete this secret would put his life in serious danger. I eventually found out what the secret was but Pete does not know yet”

“Dan you have to tell you it could change the whole perspective of the case” Jack insisted to Dan.

“I want to tell Pete first it’s going to change his life forever the least I can do is tell him first”

“Please Dan…”

“I am sorry but I am not saying anything else until I let Pete know”

“I will go and find him now and tell him” Dan said as he walked towards the door.

Lara and Jack looked confused but Jack decided he would make a few checks on Claire to see if he can find anything out.

“Jack, I was here when Claire was here she was a great detective, just a shame her and Pete didn’t work out!” Lara mentioned.

Dan arrived at the Diner looking for Pete where Colleen said, “Daniel how are you, Leah will not be long. I will make you a cup of tea”

Dan was too upset and confused so he just sat in the Diner as he thought over and over in his head about Claire and the Baby.

Colleen brought over Dan’s drink as he was still thinking about Pete and Claire, Colleen was called away by a customer who was waiting to order, Dan drank his drink and rushed out of the Diner forgetting his mobile phone.

Dan walked back into the house to find Pete but Drew is the only one home and Pete is still out, “Drew where’s your dad?”

“He said he was going out for an hour”

Later that night…

Pete was still not home, Drew had gone sleep and Dan was waiting on the sofa for Pete to get back.

Dan was getting all agitated and sweaty while he was waiting so he decided to go in the shower, While Dan was in the shower, Pete arrived back at the house when he phone bleeped, he received a text message from Dan’s phone saying ‘Pete quick I think I know who killed Jason, surf club now!’

Pete was confused by the text but raced out of the house dropping his phone on the table. Then headed to the Surf Club, Pete arrived at the Surf Club to find the door open and the bar light on, “Dan” Pete called out.

As Pete moved closer to the bar he was hit in the back with a baseball bat, he fell to the ground in pain. Pete slowly came round as he tried to remove the tape that was over his mouth, as Pete took the tape off he saw a shadow coming towards him,

“Well I thought I wouldn’t have to do this considering we all thought you was dead but now your back I can finish you off”

OOooo, i wonder who wants Peter dead? Can't wait for the next update.

How long till the end? :(
