As Peter entered the house, he saw Drew's ipod lying on the coffee table with the owner no where in sight. A part of Pete was curious as to whether or not his son had the same tastes as him with regards to music, seeing as that they were both stubborn. The temptation was too great for Peter to resist and he walked towards the coffee table and picked up the ipod.

He scrolled through the song list and this was what he saw:

Peter Andre- Mysterious Girl

M2M- Don't Say You Love Me

Backstreet Boys- Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely

Dan walked out of the shower and looked in the kitchen as he noticed the front door open; as he couldn’t see Pete he headed back into the living room. As he walked back he noticed Pete’s mobile phone. He looked on Pete’s phone and read the message.

“Omg!” Dan said in shock as he ran out the house just in his shorts and shoes.

Pete was in shock as he looked up “Why you why are you doing this?” Pete asked in confusion

“You ruined my daughters life and you expect me to sit back and watch you”

“I didn’t do anything to Claire!” Pete said, as he didn’t know what John was going on about.

“You dumped her and ran back to this place!” John shouted.

Pete was confused he wanted to know why Claire’s dad wanted to finish him off, “John I don’t understand!”

“I couldn’t believe that Jason was actually going to tell you, you would only fail”

“Fail what John?”

“He didn’t tell you did he?” laughed John

“Who tell me what?” asked Pete

“You know that Jason was always trying to win me over, but Claire was my number one. I couldn’t careless about him, I really couldn’t”

Pete was in shock as he figured out what happened, “you killed him didn’t you”

“I couldn’t let anyone else find out about her”

“Her who are you going on about”

“Lilly!”

“Lilly who” Pete asked

As John was about to answer he heard the door open, it was Dan, John stood behind the door as he let Dan walk in, “Pete Omg your ok!” said Dan just as he was hit in the legs with the bat, John shoved Dan next to Pete.

“Don’t hurt him” shouted Pete as he tried to reason with John.

John walked over to Pete and dragged him to the opposite side of the room as well as Dan.

Dan just sat watching, as he knew Pete was the best to handle situations like these.

“Who is Lilly” Pete as John but this time Dan’s head shot up as he knew that this could be Pete’s daughters name.

“You killed Jason didn’t you?” Pete demanded to know.

“John shouted, “Yes I did”

Pete was not shocked but was determined to find out who Lilly was,

“Your daughter!” Dan said as he watched Pete go into shock.

John looked up as he realised that Dan has to be finished off as well because no one can find out Pete is the father.

“Made a big mistake their mate”

Pete was just silent as he tried to take what Dan has just said in,

“My daughter?” Pete said again.

“Yes your daughter but Claire didn’t want you to find out so she had to move to the UK to get away from you” John shouted.

“The uk?”

“Yes UNITED KINGDOM!”

“But like I said it’s the end of the road for both of you” John pulled a gun from his trousers and he pulled the put his finger on the trigger.

“I’m sorry,” said Dan as he said goodbye to Pete with tears trickiling down his face.

John walked over and pulled them both to their feet before walking back; John pointed the gun at Dan and placed his finger on the trigger

The trigger was pulled and Pete fell to the ground as he dived in front of Dan as the gun went off.

Pete fell to the ground as Dan saw his brother being shot.

Dan fell too his knees as he tried to keep Pete alive,

Dan's life started to fal apart as he watched Pete's lye lifeless next to him.

Pete's eyes opened as he muttered "Tell Sally and Drew I love them" before closing them again.

Everyone was gathered round the graveside as Dan was crying into Leah’s arms. “I’m so sorry it was all my fault”.

Drew was just standing their watching the coffin being put into the ground as he said “I am so sorry I wish I could have done more. I will never forget you!” before bursting into tears and hugging Sally.

Everyone walked away as the coffin was placed into the ground.

Pete,

By the time you read this, I would have left the Bay forever. I came here to do what I had to do and I think it’s time for me to go. There is nothing left for me in this world now. The only thing that kept me here was you. Now that you are no longer a part of that, life is not worth living anymore.

I know that you and Amanda are now together and I am happy for you. Happy that you have found someone to spend the rest of your life with and to help you through your addiction. I wish you both all the best. And I wish you all the best with Dan and Drew. You will make a good father, Pete.

I never got the chance to say this before, but, thank you for being there for me when no one was. For giving me a chance. But, no matter what happens in life nothing will go right. They all hate me including you. Don't deny it. I know how you really feel deep down. I am just as nasty as what Zoe was. Nothing worth living for now. I'm sorry. All my love Tracey x x

Sally walked back into Leah and Dan’s house carrying Pete’s bags as he limped into the house, “Dad your back!” said Drew as he helped Pete sit down.

Pete was really quite. Dan entered the room and tried to talk to Pete but Pete just stayed silent, “Sal can we go now?” Pete asked.

“No Pete we need to sort this out!” Dan shouted as everyone left the room to let them talk.

“Sort what out I have a 6 month old baby across the other side of the world that you knew about!”

“Jason only told me a couple of day’s before he died, well the day you was found!”

“I had to find out from John just before he was killed” Peter shouted back at him.

“You know, I risked my life for you once again. I think I am in the habit of getting shot for you, if Jack and Lara didn’t arrive when they did and shot him I wouldn’t be sat here now with just a gun shot wound in my foot!”

Peter said trying to be angry with Dan.

“Yes I know that you do not know how grateful I am. It made me feel even worse for Jason when Lara told me that Jason wasn’t his real son.” Dan said trying to apologise

“When you jumped in front of me I thought you was gone forever but then I heard the other gun shot and John fell to the ground” Said Dan.

“Look all this comes down to is, John killed Jason so I wouldn’t find out about my daughter then you say you knew as well. I knew he was a nutter but after he killed Jason I thought he was actually going to kill you” Pete explained.

“I’m sorry” Dan said hoping Peter would except his apology

Pete just looked at Dan and knew he couldn’t be mad at him for long.

Pete hugged Dan as he said , “I want to find Claire”

“You are going to the UK?” asked Dan in shock.

“I am going to talk it through with Sally but I can’t loose any time with Lilly not like I did with Drew”

“Ok I will do anything I can to help you”

Pete sat as he watched Dan exit the room, Pete’s head was spinning with thoughts, he had just lost a best friend, started a relationship with a beautiful woman now he finds out that Claire has had a baby, his baby and not told him but the thing that worries him the most is she has left and gone to the UK and the only person who knows where about’s in the UK his the person who has always hated Pete the most – her mum Frankie.

Sally entered the room quietly as she distracted him from his thoughts, “Pete?” she said as she sat besides him.

Pete turned his head as he warmly smiled at Sally.

“Thank you!”

“What for?” Sally asked wondering what he meant

“Just, just for everything. You do not know how much it means to me,” replied Pete

“Pete I heard what you told Dan”

“I was going to tell you, but I didn’t know how you would react”

“I don’t want you to go alone, I will come with you” Sally said hoping Pete would let her.

“Really?”

“Yes really. I want to help you find Lilly and Claire; I will take some well-earned leave from work”

Pete was ecstatic he never thought that Sally would go to the UK with him, he was so happy to think that Sally would help him find his baby.

Pete looked into Sally’s eyes as she moved in for a passionate kiss which was interrupted by a giggling Ryan, VJ and Drew who was watching from the door way.

Pete and Sal stopped as they both grinned at each other and looked over at the kids.

Drew quickly took Ryan and VJ away to let his dad and Sal talk,

“I think we better go,” said Sal as she got up.

“That’s if you still want to stay at the house?”

“Yes if it’s ok with you but I will sleep on the sofa” replied Pete

“Don’t be silly we have a spare room” said Sally as she helped Pete up.

Pete and Sally arrived back at the caravan park were Sal helped Pete into the house; Ric and Rocco greeted them.

“Hey mum we have made some Dinner would you both like some?” said Ric as he showed Pete and sally the home cooked dinner, “you know Ric that smells delicious,” Pete, said grinning towards Sally,

“Don’t give him all the credit for it, I helped” laughed Rocco.

Pete limped towards the table as he sat on the chair.

“Sal is it ok if me and Ric go and see Belle and Matilda?”

“Yes but don’t forget you have school tomorrow and before you go sleep me and Pete need to talk with you”

Rocco and Ric served them dinner before leaving them to eat their dinner.

“Pete when do you want to go to the UK?” Sal asked him

“When my foot has recovered in about 1 week but I need to see Claire’s mum in the City to see if she will tell me where about’s she is” Pete explained.

“Ok do you want to go tomorrow?”

“But what about work?” asked Pete?

“Brad will understand” Sally replied.

Pete and Sally finished eating their Dinner and they sat watching the Television when there was a knock on the door.

Sally opened the door and was greeted by Drew, “Hey Sal is dad home?”

“Yes he is come inn,” replied Sally as she looked over at Pete on the sofa.

Pete smile grew on his face, “Hey mate I am glad you have come round I have a few things to tell you”

Drew was curious so he sat down on the chair waiting for Pete to tell him.

“Mate you know how I got shot at the Surf Club well I found out that Jason my best friend came to Summer Bay to tell me about my ex girlfriend Claire…”

“The one who worked with you on the Gillan case” asked Drew.

“Yes mate that’s right, well we was an item for about 1 year but we called it quits because well it wasn’t working but anyway, Jason found out something that he felt I should know, that’s why he came to Summer Bay to tell me but his dad didn’t want me to find out. When his dad knew that he was going to tell me he hunted Jason down and ended up killing him.”
