The air was warm of course, but she shuddered as the rustling trees around her whispered the thoughts that were running through her head. Even the trees had stopped taunting her. Instead, they hushed each other and they patiently watched and they waited. And even though there was a slight breeze in the air, the trees were still; they were hushed. Even they waited, and she knew... Loved the way you wrote about the trees. Really set the scene. Great description. He wiped away the solitary tear that filtered from her eye. “Yeah, you make me weak. But I need you. I need you to give me my strength. You… and Roc… you’re the only people that I’ve ever cared about. The only people that I would anything for…” Aww, so Johnny’s not totally evil then...! But Karl is!
