Don't know acutally but she wants Bobby back but that would be hard as she is dead, I don't think she has plans to write out anyone yet so yeh I think she will be great :)

Oh how I'm going to enjoy ripping this to shreds!

Home And Away is enjoying a record run of high ratings Down Under. Why do you think that is?

I believe the main reason is that we don't rest on our laurels. We keep trying to improve the programme. It looks fantastic because the cast and crew work their butts off!!!

Ok I actually agree with that one, the show does move with the times and it's all the better for it.

People watch Home and away and other dramas for exactly that - a bit of Drama! It's great to the characters you love in jeopardy, because of other brilliant storylines can come from that. For example the helicopter crash puts all our favourite relationships on the line - and for every person on-board, something will change.

Don't the producers read viewer's feedback? Nobody liked this storyline. And I actually mean "nobody".

Everyone loves a baddy, and [Zoe] is without doubt one of the best we've had in a long time.

Well she was only a baddy on paper, really. On screen, she was a ditzy blonde who was bad for, what, 4 episodes in total? Not enough time to get to know the character to any extent near enough to call her the best baddy in a long time.

We as the audience feel just as betrayed as the characters do.

We sure do, McGauran. We sure do. Just not in the way you mean, probably.

there was no way we could break Flynn and Sally up,and unfortunately that meant killing him off. But we got loads of fantastic drama out of that, as well as a lot of feedback from viewers. It seems, sadly, that everyone is touched by cancer.

Flynn's dying storyline was fantastic. One of the best and most touching storylines in H&A history. But it wasn't a cancer storyline, don't kid yourself.

My personal choice is Vinnie Patterson, who was played by Ryan Kwanten, to come back. He brought such humour and energy to the show, and he was loved very much. And i think we'd all lke to bobby Simpson return, but that could be difficult, for obvious reasons! Frank Morgan would be another one - we havent seen him for a while.

Yeah I agree with that, although Frank's a rather random choice but hey each to their own.

We always want to push things, but we know their's a line we can't cross. It's all about getting the balance right. For every big storyline, we have a smaller story to balance it with, even if it's just the teens going through an everyday problem at school. People attach to both the real and melodramatic storylines at the same time.

Oh shoosh. You cross the line all the time. It's 3 episodes of people drowning/being blown up/kidnapped/collapsing followed by 2 episodes of teenage girls arguing over boys. And then you call it a balance :P

Seriously though, it works most of the time. The problem isn't the drama, it's the lack of follow through. (I don't know why I'm typing this as if Julie McGauran is actually reading it, but hey I've started so I'll finish). For example, Drew being bundled into a car and then dumped by the side of the road dazed and confused. Not something one goes through on a daily basis. In fact, the kind of thing that could leave someone with panic attacks/agoraphobia. But nah, Drew shrugged it off and by the next episode he was fine, never to have it mentiond again! But hey, Lucas and Belle had problems at school, so that made it realistic.
