Chapter 20: Betrayal Martha sighed...time to get on with it. Lucas cried....he couldn't get on with it. Beth tried....because she had to get on with it. The bay struggled, trying to support eachother. The funeral was held, tears all around. Matilda and Kit had planned a song, like kit and hyde had when Noah died. At the end, they got up to sing. I see tears, all around me Now that they're gone, it's all I see Oh Now all I see and hear is sadness All I feel is pain. But, oh. We're sposed to be strong, to live our lives. So don't you worry- we will survive Just leave the pain behind, you know they're still here... So don't you cry, not another tear, oh, oh. Yeah. Not another, tear, no.....not another tear.... The applauding began, as Matilda and kit finished. No one had heard it before, and were shocked at how great it was. Beth had tears in her eyes, as half the people in the church also did. Hayden rushed up to kit at the end. " You didn't tell you could sing." he told her. He had been shocked, she really was good. " I can't" she replied breezily, walking off to get a drink, leaving Hayden shocked. Of course she could sing! THE NEXT DAY Martha held Riley, playing with him, as the door came open. It was Robbie and Tash. "Hey Mac!" Tasha greeted her happily. "We have a surprise for you" she told her best friend. "What is it?" Martha asked unenthusiastically. "Well, the others want to cheer you up too, you see, and we know how you used to love camping, so we organised a camping trip for everyone! Isn't that great!" Robbie exclaimed. "No! Actually, it's not! You can't decided for me where I go and when. I REFUSE to go!" she yelled at them. ONE WEEK LATER. "I can't believe you talked me into this" Martha groaned. The camping trip began, with all of the people wanting to come aboarding a rented van. The people that had agreed to come were: Rachel and Kim Hayden and kit Tasha and Robbie Martha Scott Leah and dan Peter and Amanda They parked the van, grabbed their gear, and walked off towards the bushes, looking for their ideal spot. Some, although weren't too happy about carrying gear. "This is TOO heavy!" Amanda groaned, although kit was as light as a feather. Martha sighed. This was going to be a LONG weekend. That night, they all sat around together amongst the fire. It was a freezing night, and everyone had someone to hold but Martha and Scott, who happened to be paired up. Robbie had planned a truth game, where there would be one question, and they'd take it in turns, everyone, to answer it honestly. Easy, right? Wrong. Robbie, being cheeky, had decided on the question "How many of the people here tonight have you had sex with?" A lot of people thought it was horrible that Robbie would be asking them that, it was too personal, but answered it anyway. "One" Robbie said first, as if it didn't matter at all. Tasha also said one, Amanda said 3, Dan said 2, Leah said 2, Peter said 1, Scott said 1, Martha said 0, Kim said 2, Rachel said 1...and Kit said...1. Everyone gasped, that knew what had happened between her and Kim. It was even more of a shock for them, when Hayden said 0. "What!? You don't have to have done it to be in a relationship you know!" Kit snapped at their staring faces, storming off. Hayden, embarassed, followed her. "Yeah, have fun tonight!" Robbie called after them teasingly, but he had gone over the line. "Robbie, that's really immature. I'm going to bed, night everyone" Rachel said, also going off to the tents, Kim close behind. Tasha and Robbie slowly went back as well, leaving Scott, Martha, Leah, Dan, peter and Amanda. Dan and Amanda went back to their own tents to get some sleep, but leah and Peter, who weren't very tired yet, went for a walk, leaving Scott and Martha alone. "Gosh it's cold" Leah said, hugging herself to keep warm. Peter wrapped his arms around her, to try and keep her warmer. Close together, they looked at eachother, before leaning in and kissing passionately. Peter held Leah against a tree, and kissed her wildly. Leah knew she was betraying her husband, but pushed it to the back of her mind. Meanwhile, Dan realised Amanda had his phone, and went to retrieve it. He tried to get in, tripping and falling, right next to her. After a moment of silence, Amanda pulled Dan close to her, and they both kissed, preparing themselves to spend the night together.... "You miss Jack, huh?" Scott asked Martha, distracting her thoughts. "Yeah, I guess I do. What about hayley? Are you mad about what she did to you?" she asked him " Yeah, I am" he replied. He held her tighter, closer to him as she shivered, and yet again, another pair began kissing, passionately for the record, and that made 3 couples about to betray their lovers, or old lovers. Please review. A weird chapter...!!! I just had to make a quadrangle, I just had to! P.S. Sorry, Drew, not copying you with D&A, or not TRYING to anyways.

Actually one or two of your stories have helped me build storylines or create new ones, so I guess where inspire each othere haha. (By the way, I never even picked it out until you wrote P.S lol) I love how everyone's switching and swapping. A little disappointed in Martha though haha.

SfanS Posted November 7, 2006 Report Posted November 7, 2006 Next chapter up: Chapter 21: cheating hearts and lying souls Feeling guilt of what she had done, Leah quickly scurried out of her comfortable spot, in Peter's arms. They had spent the night together in the middle of the bush. It must have been late morning, as she could hear the voices of her friends from where she was. Suddenly, Rachel and Kim came though the trees, appearing on their side. Amanda and Dan both lay in shock, at what had happened the previous night. Every old feeling had been brought back....but Amanda felt the same about Peter, and look where she was now. "What's going on!?" Rachel yelled, but as Leah heard Dan's voice coming towards them, she rushed out back to her tent. Peter quickly ran back to his tent, to find Amanda lying there. "Hey...where were you last night?" it had just occured to Amanda that they, she and Dan, hadn't been caught, as Peter hadn't come back to the tent the night before. "I was with Dan" He said quickly, and Amanda tried to look convinced. But, of course, that was one, big, fat lie. Scott rolled over, to kiss Martha. He thought that, after a night like that, how could she resist him? As his lips touched hers, she pulled away quickly, running out of the tent. That day, the group divided into two groups. Unfortunately, Robbie had decided on the teams randomly. It wasn't the best choice made. Team one: Robbie, Tash, Peter, Dan, Kit Team two: Hayden, Kim, Rachel, Amanda, Leah, Martha and Scott. There were 7 and 5 for no reason, it was just the way Robbie had planned them. The idea was to have competitions and stuff, starting with the walks. The first team back won. There were two different walks, although Robbie had no idea how long they were or anything....they weren't even giuded! He just said do a loop to find your way around. Secretly, Robbie did have some ways of how he chose the teams. He put Amanda and Leah together to see how they would cope. He knew that they didn't get along, and wanted to help them get along better. Dan and Peter for the same sort of reason, alkthough they got along fine. He wondered to himself- would they be able to cope? He wanted to set Scott and Martha up, although he felt really bad that jack had only just died. It was just the way his sick mind worked. The two teams set off. They all prayed the other team would be okay. "Which way now?" Rachel asked as they reached a place with three options of where to go. "mmm....that way" Kim said, pointing to the way straight ahead of them. "No! It's that way, I'm sure!" Scott old them, pushing through and starting up that way. The others looked unsure, it didn't look right. " TRUST me" Scott said, and the others followed him through the bushy path. 2 HOURS LATER "YES!!! We won!" Robbie shouted joyfully, jumping up and down as the five of them reached back to the main spot. The others hadn't arrived back yet, which was the test. THAT NIGHT A fire was going, with Robbie, Tash, Kit, Peter and Dan all sitting around it. "Where are they?" Kit asked, worried.

SfanS Posted November 7, 2006 Report Posted November 7, 2006 Oh, sorry! What happened was: Dan and amanda spent the night together, as did leah and peter. Rachel caught Leah and peter, and hasn't said anything (yet....) BUT, Dan left the tent, and Leah and peter both raced back to their own tents, so rachel is the only one who knows of Leah and pete, but no one knows about Mandy and Dan.... Sorry, that was a bit confusing, I hope that helps!
