That was beautifully written Jess. I love the open end, although I personally think she died, I kind of like the idea of him saving her. It was a great fic, and I hope you write another fic soon as I have loved all of yours.

Brilliant Jess such a great, sad and emotional ending just like the rest of the story has been and I sadly think it looks like Mattie has died but in my own perfect world I hope he managed to save her to bring her back.

Being a very positive person I 100% believe that Matilda lived. Jess couldn't possibly hate me so much as to kill her. well that's my belief and I'm sticking with it! Awesome story Jess, a really fantastic end to it. Well done.xx
