In all of his life, he had never cried for any woman. The fact that he was here, in the sitting room of the apartment that he shared with Clare, and in his towel, crying for Clare showed just how much she meant to him. No, not meant. She still means a lot to me. How did I let it go this far? I drove her away. This was my fault. I am to blame for this.
