^ I understand.

I get inspired from songs or from random day dreamings, which can come at random and insane hours in the day. Sometimes, when I'm doing something, a thought hits me and then I get inspired to write.

Mostly, it also comes from experience and from a very weird and crazy imagination. :P

Yeh I just happen to make things up and makes twist that may not happen on TV like in my upcoming fic you will see a twist you may have never known before but this person was doing this job way before moving to summer bay..

I just get my inspiration by television shows and movies. Characters would help me build storylines from other television shows or a storyline may influence me to create a character, vis versa.

Shows, movies, song lyrics, lines (Fortunes Fools - When Leo screamed "I am fortunes fool" I just knew I had to write an angsty death type story), or particular scenes between characters which make me wanna take things that one step further.

I wrote an original story once, and went through this entire thing just to come up with a concept. Was not easy, and makes me not wanna go back there again. But if I did, I think I'd base it around things I could understand, because writing that from a perspective you know seems easier...?

I get inspired by songs a lot. But recently I've been watching movies/TV shows and have been noticing little characteristics I might not've picked up on before and write about/around that. I can't explain it.

It really depends with me. Most of mine are just from what I want or would like to see happen on the show, but on a recent fic I wrote (Not Home and Away), I used the fact that I thought it would be a challenge to do, and worked of that instinct. It was tough, but I think it ended well.

And that, Emmasi, is why I love you so very much :D

I can't remember if anyone has asked this before so I ask now. What are everyones opinions on crossover fics? Do you avoid them or do you like them?

I'm a sucker for a crossover, if it is done right. I love mixing up characters from different shows and always see points where it could happen. I had a Torchwood/H&A moment last night while watching Torchwood.

Lol, thanks. I think :D

Crossovers are tricky. Your readers generally have to be familiar with both fandoms to get into it, so it's a risk as to whether or not you'll get many people that are interested. For instance, I've never heard of Torchwood, so I probably wouldn't read a crossover fic about it.

As far as writing them goes, I don't see a problem with it. There's no harm in combining the things you love. I made a poll about H&A crossovers ages ago for fun and got quite a big response to it, so I guess there is a market out there for it. I can't seem to find the poll right now, but I think the most popular cross over was Friends. So get writing :P

EDIT: "Cassie: the Slayer of the Vampyrs" is mine! Back off!! *waves pointy stick around in a defensive manner*
