The Ric and Matilda Appreciation Thread

I do not like Cassie-and i think i will seriously question whether to watch it again if Ric and Cassie get back together. They are more like brother and sister than anything else. However, with the latest episodes that clearly show how much ric and matilda love each other and need each other i seriously doubt the writers would spoil that-mind you this is a soap. I think is is quite telling that Ric was keen to be with mattie, whenever she was somewhere else alone (e.g-outside the house before the verdict).

I genuinly believe that ric and mattie are soul mates. Cassie and Lucas are so annoying sometimes so they are well suited because they can be annoying together lol. Keep Ric and Mattie together that's what i say.

^Yeah I totaly agree.

I dont like Cassie(although she has grown on me a bit)I think her and Ric are better off as sister and brother than a couple.They help eachother when one of them is down and they support eachother but I think their relationship should stay non-romantic.I think Cassie and Macca are good together.

As for Lucas I think he is okay but he can get a bit annoying sometimes.When him and Mattie were together they acted more like brother and sister than a couple.I have only seen them kiss once or twice.I dont know hiow keen I am on the Lucas/Belle situation because I think Belle and Drew belon together.

I wanted Ric and Matie to get together right from the start.Now that they are together I think the writters would do a great job by keeping them together.Because like Cassey said they are soul mates.

Totally agree with everything you said angelgirl. I am from the U.K and thanks to this forum and the fab people that upload the episodes i get to watch all the current episodes that are airing in australia. It's great, and if my post does not make it clear enough lol i am a ric and matilda shipper and have been since Ric first came to the bay and there was an instant chemistry between them. Plus Mark Furze is lush (hot) lol

Oh and indianna is a great actress for how young she is, and of course mark is as well

It was sweet how they said they loved each other before the trial. I really hope they can stay together. I agree with everyone... they're soul mates. So hopefully Cassie stays out of the picture!

I agree with everyone, except with Tainted Muse. I think their love will last, even if Ric is in jail. The last episodes showed pretty much the love between Ric and Matilda; their 'I love you', Matilda who is scared if Ric gets in jail, Ric who said that he will nog going anywhere, Matilda her tears when the verdict fell... And it will get better because

Matilda will do everything to get Ric out of jail: she, Lucas and Cassie will get a plan to get him out of jail.

But I don't know if Cassie will regret her break-up with Ric. I think she is totally over him, because she had no problem with the relationship of Ric and Matilda. I think we'll just have to see what will happen.

i agree i was the same though i did like the idea of Matilda and Lucas but a gradually grew to like them better as brother and sister

I've never warmed to Lucas i find him a bit dull and full of himself (sorry to those who like him), plus with him going out with Matilda there was little chance of her getting with Ric. I'm so glad they never worked out and Ric and Matilda are together (hopefully for good). It's made me enjoy the show again more regularly after a bit of a lull where i wasn't that interested in any of the storylines.
