Lauratty Posted January 5, 2007 Report Posted January 5, 2007 I think the other contestants prob with Alan is he has a huge UK following and has just been on a university tour with his band drumming up support. However, they want to stop moaning as most of the others will have had singing training before. Jane Danson and Verity Rushworth are (I'm pretty sure) stage school alumni and there is no way Leon Lopez hasn't had training.

Alan's is as they make money from it, i don't think the band Mark is in is professional. (I'm sure i heard he was in a band with some mates somewhere) I didn't know about the Alan Uni tour though. That's a bit unfair in my opinion. Mind you Alan would have to compete with Mark's hotness! What i did think was unfair tonight, was the last guy (who i don't think is that great a singer/didn't look that good) was so hyped up. Even in the show, the presenter woman was like "Saved the best till last". Grr. Major Bias. xx

ter06 Posted January 5, 2007 Report Posted January 5, 2007 I've only just realised that voting is open in Ireland too where Home and Away is far more popular than Hollyoaks, Neighbours and probably on par with Emmerdale so Mark will have a lot of the Irish vote I reckon. what about his top!!! Despite the obvious, H&A may get some good coverage. I did like the Ric/Cassie clips they showed today. Very apt to show the jet ski thing, when they're marketing him as a hunk! xxx
