Sam Deprecation Thread **Spoilers**

Yep I love the way they have potrayed them in the storyline. Sam is so irriating, I dont think I could like her as a character even if her aim in the soap wasnt to keep Jack and Martha apart

well i dont think there's anything more i can say that already hasn't. she really pissed me off tonight. mum and i were txting each other thru the ep. i think mum may hate her just as much as i do.

wow what a punishment, martha not allowed to go to jack and sams wedding. she should just turn up and make a big scene and tell jack not to marry sam and to marry her instead. and then they can get married and live happily ever after. and humiliate sam in front of everyone. and then martha can rub it into that smug little brat, rorys face that jack wont be his dad. suck **** you little so and so.

I'm not sure what to think - if it's great casting or terrible casting - but part of what makes Sam so unbearable for me is the actor. She has this tone and pitch to her voice and way of elongating her syllables that is so irritating and makes everything she says sound very patronising/fake/grating. She always seems to talk down to people - not to people. So it makes it easy to hate Sam which I guess is good but makes any scenes with her in them very hard to endure

I absolutely HATE Sam!! She is the most annoying character on Home and Away ever! I wish she goes back to wherever she was before the bay and she can do me another favour and take her son with her!

Not meaning to come across as a nazi mod or anything guys but this thread is getting kind of intense. I get that a lot of you don't like Sam for whatever reason but can we please remember that this is a board for all ages and so even bleeped out swearing isn't really necessary. I'm sure there are ways of getting a point across without swearing. I just also feel the need to remind people of the line between acceptable and unacceptable abuse of a character and more than one post in here has been reported to us for causing offence.

It's a difficult line and like I say I really don't want to come across as if I'm telling you what not to post and I don't want to go editing posts but can we please tone down the language and try and justify why we hate the character rather than simply wanting her to die?

I personally don't see why you have to justify why you hate a character. I can see why you can't use swear words, and I personally detest the word mole. Anyone who uses that I cringe. I also see why you can't criticise a character’s looks. But I should be able to say:

I HATE SAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And not have to justify that.

I suggested people try justification as a better way of getting your thoughts across, I didn't say you have to justify why you dislike a character every time you post and sorry if it came across that way.

Everyone has a reason for disliking a character though, whether its something they've done or said or straight out because they're splitting up JM, I was merely suggesting that it might be nice to see more reasonings rather than I HATE SAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! which apart from being a nice release of tension, doesn't really explain why you dislike her so much.

Just my thoughts. I have days were I really dislike Sam too but if i'm honest I avoid posting in here because it seems to extreme at times.
