It could be that people have PM'd her Merc, or perhaps feel a little out of their depth in dealing with such a matter.

I myself have no experience in that area, and wouldn't really know what to advise, other than the obvious - see your doctor. I wish I could offer more helpful or insightful advice, but I can't.

I have to say, in all honesty, that it's a little scary that so many people have just ignored Tess when she openly says that she's suicidal, and not even said anything to her, even not in just one sentence.

It's not that I don't care...I honestly don't know what to say, and like others, am scared of saying the wrong thing as I have no experience of it myself.

Tess: I don't know what to say to you, but I really hope you get the help you need so that you can start feeling better about yourself again :) *hugs*

I agree with Jess.

As i can't put myself in Tess's situation, because i have never felt like that i didn't know what to say or how to approach it because sometimes u can say something and it can be taken the wrong way. And i didn't want to do that as it could have made Tess feel worse if it came off the wrong way.

Anyway Tess like jess said i hope you start to feel better soon, and focus on the positives in your life. :D

Ive only just read it now obviously i could'nt reply at the time...before we start passing judgement.. a lot of people are generally scared as to what to say in case they don't say the wrong thing..

some of us here knows about suicide..if you want to Tess you can pm me.. but i won't be relaying it on this board.

Ok well my parents are so overprotective, theyve gotten worse since what happened to me 2 years ago, they dont let me go out anywhere on my own not even to the dairy or anything unless my support worker is with me, im sick of having her and im sick of being under renassonce (sp) i want to quit them but my mum say that i cant that they can force me to stay with them, but they cant can they? Anyways they're the reason i havent got any friends, im not even aloud a friend over for the night let alone for the day im never going to get any freedom, my dad says i'll be aloud to go out on my own after the court case but i doubt he'll keep to it!!

Maybe you have to sit down and have a very long talk with them about how it has affected you, and still is. If that doesn't work...Maybe you will just have to wait?

Is it trust issues from their side?

If so try to talk to them about and tell them that they can trust you, or make them see that they could trust you.

But like Tess said, sit down with them and talk to them. Explain how you feel and that you want your friends back, but you cant because they're always around.
