I've seen some of my avatars on Piczo sites, and lots of ones from other member of diffrent forums.

I usally just ask them to credit me in a Credit Page.

I agree. And if they get just one message and the image is removed/credited then no-one else will have any reason to pm/email them so therefore they would only be getting one but if they get more then one they might realise that it is upsetting people and it isnt right. I don't think anyone will send angry emails to anyone I am sure they would all be polite and within reason.

I wasn't aware of copyright stuff till awhile ago (Naive little girl...) But when I found out i was like "OMG!" and shut the site down.

Perhaps people are like that....unaware?

^Yeah to be fair to people I don't think we should just assume they are aware of these things...I was totally ignorant when I had a piczo site and probably used peoples stuff without crediting, I only found out about hotlinking, crediting and stuff when I joined here at started making my own stuff.

I'm by no means belittling the situation because if anyone was crazy enough to use any of my stuff (in fact I wouldn't mind an URL or two to keep an eye out) I'd be pretty annoyed, all I'm saying is be gentle!

She's even put her name on some of them, so she's actually stolen some and tried to pass them off as her own!

Maybe the ones she put her name on are her own? Or maybe those have the name of the owner.

I can't really tell if she's (I'm continuing with assuming she's a girl) hotlinked. She either has 2 or 3 accounts, or she's hotlinked. I think some people have probably set up Photobucket accounts for people to look at graphics, and then she hotlinked from there. So then she couldn't really credit, because she would have no idea who the graphics belonged to.

Some of that artwork is awesome! I recognised a few bits but not much, I doubt that she made them all because of the completely different styles etc but we can't say what's hers and whats not unless every single person who's artwork she's used identifies their own.

That's what I thought too, some of that stuff is AMAZING! But it's not the same style at all. I did only recognize like 5 pieces of artwork. If it was that many...
