Nathan Posted July 26, 2007 Report Posted July 26, 2007 Ah! Maybe it's a good thing that Pokemon doesn't air here anymore, then. Can't believe I said that... I take it back! Still, there voices were trademark! Especially Ash's! Getting rid of them was obviously a very bad idea!
-Emily- Posted August 4, 2007 Report Posted August 4, 2007 I'm not obsessed, but my brother is. He gOes on and on about the 'HP' of his cards. Whatever that is Hehe
emmasi Posted August 5, 2007 Report Posted August 5, 2007 Hit Points are like Life Points, except that pokemon don't die, they faint. So Hit Points - or HP - tells you how much damage a pokemon can take before fainting. Of course, I have no idea how that works with cards. How can a peice of cardboard faint?? I don't pretend to understand that game. Pictures are nice though.
Cal Posted August 5, 2007 Report Posted August 5, 2007 I used to be a wizz with the cards. Had almost 1000 of them.... Basically when the card 'faints' it get removed from play I had the Shiny Mew and a Dugtrio which were quite difficult to get in the packs. I think my worst card was a Diglet - he didn't do much ...
emmasi Posted August 5, 2007 Report Posted August 5, 2007 My friend and I got Mew cards when we went to see one of the movies. They almost didn't give them to us because we weren't kids, but then I made a fuss and we got them
Nathan Posted August 6, 2007 Report Posted August 6, 2007 ^ Priceless! My most prized card was my Psyduck. I loved him.. or her. I didn't go so far as giving it a gender I had much better cards with much higher HPs, but Psyduck has always been my favourite so I really didn't care for the others as much. I started with a Sparrow (name?) or maybe a Diglet, that a mate gave to me, and I swapped and swapped up to hundreds of cards. I never purchased a single one. Many were very good cards too. Though I must give credit to my fraudulent business skills. Many times I told little children that Magikarp had special powers and that if you had a Dugtrio, you could put them together and heal all your fainted Pokemon. That was a huge selling point Kinda feel guilty now
emmasi Posted August 6, 2007 Report Posted August 6, 2007 That's just evil. I think I must have had a valuable card once because someone traded me a shiny vulpix AND a ninetales for it. They probably thought they were sucking me in but ninetales is my favourite pokemon (or one of) so I think I got the better deal
Nathan Posted August 8, 2007 Report Posted August 8, 2007 That's just evil. In my defence, I was nine or ten.

emmasi Posted August 26, 2007 Report Posted August 26, 2007 Is it sad that I'm watching TMNT purely to listen to the 4kids voice actors...? *Closes eyes...*
