And I can understand that they could write Josie in even if she has no ties to the bay but I also feel that she wouldnt leave Robbie and Tash. But I guess after Robbie's finished school they could go travelling and she could come back. But also she has a ranch over there so she would have to cut all those ties which would be a bit weird

The only solid storyline I could come up with for Josie's return is if Robbie and Tash were both killed in some horrible accident, and Josie had to bring the baby back to Beth. And escort the bodies back to be burried in Summer Bay... As much as I love Laurie, I think I'd rather keep the window open for Robbie to come back some day, and I was happy with him and Tash getting a happy ending. It'd be kind of sucky to kill them offscreen after that. Still, if Kim was still around when it happened, I might get some good funeral scenes out of him. Although knowing the writers, they'd probably only focus on Jack and Martha, and Kim wouldn't even be told that his 2 supposed best friends had died . EDIT: I forgot about the possibility of Robbie having an evil twin. Okay, go ahead and kill Robbie and Tash to bring Josie back. If they die together and have everyone grieving over them, it's still romantic. That'd give Beth and Tony something to do as well, raising Ella, and Josie and Irene could clash over Josie's inability to keep Tasha safe. Ooh, and they could bring Jonah back, wanting to be a part of Ella's life! I'm starting to like this idea
Frankie Posted January 18, 2007 Report Posted January 18, 2007 YOu could use the Ian Osbourne link I think...his secret filming of The Beach House..."changed him"...he was impressed by life there...he also seemed to take a shine to Irene ....he could have a life changing experience...want to leave the rat race behind and come to Summer Bay...Josie could come along for the ride. Hey Presto...a plot device.

It's amazing the kind of stuff that somebody can come up with... then it links to another idea and soon you have a potential storyline!!! As for Laurie Foell still being in Auckland looking for work - I'd like her to join Outrageous Fortune. I love seeing her on our TV screens!
