Interesting start, Eli. The scenes where you describe Ric's Dad being drunk are really well done.

I was a bit afraid that I wouldn't be able to make him believeable because I don't know the character very well yet.

You've done fine. It's always much, much better when fanfic writers try to get into characters' heads.

That was fantastic! It's amazing how you can convey Ric's emotions, the bits about Flynn were so sad.

Some great lines, Eli, especially the last one. I didn't know Cassie was so pushy, but I don't watch the show now. I think I only saw her once or twice.
