Also how many times can you say the F wod in Fan Fic is there a limit?

Ahem. As a librarian *flashes shiny (home-made) badge,* its probably up to me to ask you to bleep the f words, ie, "F***" - but other than that, I don't think there's a limit. If you're talking about it as a matter of good taste, I'd suggest to use it sparingly. A word like that, which might normally be shocking in a fic, loses it's affect if it's overused.

Example:

The kids wandered off from the caravan park. They soon came to a house - the Old Mckinnon Place. Myrtle, the most wreckless of the three children, walked in first. "This place is f***ing scary," she decided.

vs.

The f***ing kids wandered the f*** off from the f***ing caravan park. They soon came to a f***ing house - the Old F***ing Mckinnon Place. Myrtle, the most f***ing wreckless of the three f***ing children, walked in first. "This place is f***ing scary," she f***ing decided.

Not saying you'd do anything like that, I'm just making a point about the pitfalls overuse :P. It can seriously change the entire reading of a character or situation.

OK Thanks, See your point. It was always my intention to Bleep them but I didn't want to use them too much if I wasn't alowed too. Bleeped swear words can still be considered offensive. The F words are in place during a conversation but is overused... Not to the extent of what you used in the second example. I will only use it when needed... It is my intention to make it like a horror movie... You know lots of Violence is that ok, too?

I switch letters around or use the little star thing, like fcuk or b*tch etc whenever I wanna swear. 'Tis annoying when you can't work out what people are saying with **** and besides I kinda like the swearing. :D ... Not that I use it often, no no.

I had it like this:

“That’s not funny,” he tells her before kissing her passionately.

“It’s f***ing hilarious”. She replies.

Before wrapping her arms right around him as he continues to kiss her.

“I f***ing Love you” Paul tells her.

“Oh f***”, Jodie says.

“What is it?” Asks Paul.

“My f***ing ring is gone”. She replies.

“What ring?” Paul asks.

“My f***ing engagement ring” answers a frustrated Julie.

“Oh f***”. Paul says.

But I changed it to this:

“That’s not funny,” he tells her before kissing her passionately.

“It’s hilarious”. She replies.

Before wrapping her arms right around him as he continues to kiss her.

“I Love you” Paul tells her.

“Oh god”, Jodie says.

“What is it?” Asks Paul.

“My bloody ring is gone”. She replies.

“What ring?” Paul asks.

“My f***ing engagement ring” answers a frustrated Julie.

“Oh Crap”. Paul says.

Well I always say the F word in conversation and because i was going to rate ithe story 18+ i thought I just write what I want to write without worrying about being too rude... but then I thought there might be rules against it... That's why I asked but I saw Jemima's point about the F word being more effective when not used often... Also the girls name is Jodie not Julie. I was going to call her Julie but went back and changed it to name her after Jodi Gordon.

It's going to be long so I want a good head start before I post it, otherwise it will be like the last one I run out of time to finish it and i leave people waiting... I can't give you an exact time sorry... but it will be worth it... the writing wont be great... but the story that's there will be... Well it might not be everyone's cuppa tea... But at least it's not another Jack and Martha fic... Sorry if anyone is planning a Jack and Martha fic.
