My first thought was that you should have ended at the flatline and done the reveal in the next chapter BUT then I thought that it was good the way you didn't because it makes you think "What the hell...?" and then you have to keep reading to find out EDIT: Wanted to mention, there's a couple of present tense lines slipping in there. You've probably gone through the whole fic and edited it to past tense, so I won't hold it against you that you missed one or two lines
