Luc Posted June 15, 2008 Report Posted June 15, 2008 One of the best episodes ever today - I loved the end scene with Johnny going to Ava's house and Ava going to The Sandbar - very well done - so little Cam & Nikki, but I can live with it, knowing in two episodes time Cam has at least 20 minutes of screen time (10-15 minutes more than what h normally has ) - but it's also Zac's last episode ...
Jen Posted June 15, 2008 Report Posted June 15, 2008 ^ Yeah, I agree. Cam should have definitely had some screen time in the last episode. But oh, the episode today gets me everytime (and the next one too). There was some great quotes too. Suzannah (on the phone to Colbie): Colbie! Colbie, don't freak out! A grown man shouldn't scream like that that! and Suzannah: If anyone can handle silk and lace, it's our Colbie. The timing of the Ava/Johnny scenes at the end were very well done.
Luc Posted June 15, 2008 Report Posted June 15, 2008 ^ lol I love those lines . My favourite was this though... Ava: I do not know if I can compete with ice cream and Oreos but here goes. If Cameron says it's not about you, maybe it isn't. Nikki: Maybe but he isn't talking. Ava: He's a guy. They often take the emotionally inarticulate route
Luc Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 Okay, started on the script about 5 minutes go - what do you think? EXT. Playa Linda Beach, Summerland DAY JAY ROBERTSON is trying his hardest to resuscitate an unidentifiable person (in slow motion), paramedics arrive and JAY moves away – the person is revealed – it is ISABELLA LUNA. TITLE SCREEN – 2 WEEKS LATER INT. Playa Linda Church, Summerland DAY A large group of people are sitting in pews are looking solemnly towards a coffin at the front of the church – the camera pans around and travels across the faces of AVA GREGORY, SUZANNAH REXFORD, BRADIN WESTERLEY, NIKKI WESTERLEY, CAMERON BALE, DERRIK WESTERLEY, ERIKA SPALDING, JOHNNY DURANT and JAY, they watch as a priest walks up to a podium, a hush falls across the congregation. PRIEST: We are gathered here today to celebrate the life of one of God’s angels, Isabella Luna, a loving mother, daughter, friend and fiancée. It is unknown why God decided that Isabella should be taken so suddenly and so tragically
Jen Posted June 17, 2008 Report Posted June 17, 2008 ^ That's an awesome start! I've never actually written in script format so it'll be a challenge. But me likes
Luc Posted June 17, 2008 Report Posted June 17, 2008 Thanks - it's pretty simple once you get used to it. You know, I was wondering if we should have someone reciting 'Do Not Stand At My Grave and Weep' at Isabella's funeral, or has that been done to death?
Jen Posted June 17, 2008 Report Posted June 17, 2008 Hmm, I don't know. Jay should get up and say something moving though, and get everyone emotional.
Luc Posted June 17, 2008 Report Posted June 17, 2008 That's what I was thinking, something very moving about how life is going to be ___________ without Isabella (I can't think of te correct word, but I'll find one (never really liked Isabella, so it could be tough )
Jen Posted June 17, 2008 Report Posted June 17, 2008 ^ Lol. I could put many words in that space, but again not so appropriate! Awesome! Wicked! Better! I am so horrible!
