Make him go away pink! dont let him hurt martha or jack or the baby. There so happy now, they dont deserve to be hurt. uh! and taking pictures of martha in the shower, i always thort he was a creap! PINK Posted February 11, 2007 Report Posted February 11, 2007 Chapter 8: Dreams really do come true... It had been five months since the brick had come flying thorough the window and Martha could have the baby any day now, But they had continued to get threatening letters in the mail but Martha and Jack tried to stay positive and let the police handle it, Martha and Jack were lying side by side in bed asleep when all of a sudden Martha woke with a pain in her stomach she tore the covers away from her body and threw her legs over the edge and stood up but froze when she felt a liquid running down her legs, Oh my god Martha thought “the babies coming it’s time” “Jack” she said softly still in shock she looked over he was fast asleep “Jack” she said again raising her voice, “Just five more minutes” he said turning over, “Jack” Martha said again getting frustrated “my water broke” “Then we’ll get you another one” he said still half asleep but in seconds his eyes shot open and he jumped up “your water, you mean the” he said “Yes, the babies coming” she said” fear written across her face, “Ok” Jack started trying to keep calm “um you go out to the car and I’ll be out in a sec” Martha nodded and made her way out to the car. Next door Beth stood in the kitchen having a glass of water when she saw a light on out the window and it was on at Jack and Martha’s place she wondered why they were up at this hour she made her way to the door and stepped outside to find Martha standing next to the car holding her stomach protectively, Beth hurried over eager to find out what was going on, “What’s going on, is the baby coming?” she asked curiously, Martha nodded nervously “My water just broke” she said through a shaky voice “I’m scared” she added, “Oh don’t be when you see your baby for the first tie this will all be worth it” she said with a smile, Just then Jack hurried out with Martha’s bag that had been pre-packed that day, “Hey Beth” he said “we kinda got a go” he said, “Oh of course go” she said “and call us when the baby comes” she said excitedly, “We will bye Beth” Jack said getting into the car followed by Martha and they started to drive off, “Tony” Beth exclaimed barging through the door, “Yeah he said turning around with his eyes still closed “The babies coming” she said excitedly “What he said as his eyes snapped open “when” “Martha’s water just broke there on there way to the hospital now, they said they’d give us a ring when the baby comes” she said with a huge smile, “Oh my god” he said “I know isn’t it exciting she said with a smile “No, I mean yeah but I’m going to be a granddad” he said Beth let out a little giggle “I’m sure you’ll survive” she said getting back into bed but she knew she wasn’t going to get back to sleep she was too excited. “Ahhhh” Martha yelled as another contraction came on they had been going for about four hours and they were getting closer and closer together Rachel said that she should be ready to push any time now, “It hurts” Martha told Jack as he dabbed her face with a wet cloth “I know but it will all be over soon” he said “and just think in a couple of hours we will have our beautiful baby. Martha smiled and nodded but her face quickly changed form happiness to pian again as another contraction came on she grabbed onto her stomach and let out a loud groan, Jack looked down at her it was going to be a long night….. “Ahhhh” Martha screamed “Come on Martha just one more” Rachel said “I can’t” Martha cried “it hurts too much” “Come on” Jack said to her “just one more push and our baby will be here, Martha quietly nodded and let out another scream of pain as she used the last bit of energy that she had left to give one more push, Martha fell back onto the bed as she heard the wailing of little lungs she looked down as Rachel placed the little bundle wrapped in pink into her arms, “Congratulations Mum” Jack whispered into her ear, Martha smiled and turned her head to face him “same to you dad” she said with a huge grin on her face as she and Jack looked down at there little baby in awe she was so tiny, “She’s beautiful” she exclaimed “That’s because she looks like her mum” he said softly Martha smiled but she has your eyes” she said softly “Sorry to ruin the moment but we need to get her checked out and you cleaned up so Jack you come with me and Julie will help you” said “Ok” Martha nodded as she reluctantly handed the baby over to Jack and watched them walk out the door she sighed happily she had her own little family she had never been so happy in her whole life she had everything she ever wanted right here….. “She’s gorgeous” Beth exclaimed as she came bounding through the door with Tony, Matilda and Lucas hot on her tail, “Thanks” Martha said with a smile she looked back down at her she couldn’t stop looking at her, “What’s her name” Matilda asked eager to find out, Martha and Jack looked at each other then back at the crowed “Katie” she spoke “Katie Holden” she finished looking down at the baby, “That’s perfect” Tony said looking down at the baby, “Can I hold her” he asked looking longingly and the baby in Martha’s arms “Of course” she said happily handing over the baby, “She’s gorgeous” he said looking down at the sleeping bundle in his arms “I know” Martha thought to herself she looked beside her at Jack who had just been passed a sleeping Katie she saw the way he was looking at her it was the same way she looked at her the past year had been so tough on them but one way or another they came through it and everything seemed to be looking up for them everything was perfect….. “Waaaa” Katie’s cries echoed through the room as she awoke which broke Martha from her thoughts, “I think she wants her mum” Jack said handing her over to Martha but she continued to cry, “Actually” Rachel spoke who had just entered the room to see how Martha was as she was on her rounds “I think she might be ready for her first feed” she said happily “Oh” Martha said, Rachel smiled “how were you guys thinking of doing this” she asked “Oh I’m you know” she said getting a bit embarrassed on a count of all the people being around, “Ok” Rachel said “I’ll get Julie in here and you might want to give Martha some privacy” she said turning to the others” “Oh yeah sure” Tony said “we’ll go get something to eat “do you need anything love” he asked, “Oh no thanks Tony” she said “Ok seeya later then he said as he walked out the door followed by Beth, Lucas and Matilda, Once they had gone Martha turned her attention to Jack “I can’t believe we’re here and we have a baby” she said looking down at Katie, who was still whimpering softly, “I know but I wouldn’t have it any other way I can’t believe it its like we’ve finally been given a break” he said smiling down at the baby rested safely in Martha’s arms, “I love you” she said looking up at him “I love you too” he said back to her while leaning down and giving her a soft kiss on the lips everything at that moment was just perfect…..
