Cal Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 I bought one of those mags as well, nothing too great about them
-Andrew- Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 Yep, DVD mags wind up with only about six pages I was trying to get into something new after Buffy, but it didn't work. Charmed's DVD mag got me into that though
allibaz91 Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 Awww, I think the X-Files is pretty witty! I adore the Sculder banter! Cal, get obsessed like me OMG I love the Pilot! "Actually I'm really looking forward to working with you" "I was under the impression you were sent to spy on me" Sculder Where's Belle? Also, emmasi, have to point out - I remember why I was sure it was Trust No-One! Because at the end of the episode, when Deep Throat was dying in Scully's arms ( ! ) he grabbed her arm (I think) and said: "Trust No-one" .... and it's also why Mulder says "You're the only one I trust, Scully." Because they now trust no-one else .... That point was a while ago, but thought I'd point it out!
Bellsy Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 Sculder Where's Belle? Here Sculder I've been watching X-Files since....a long time I read all the books at my school library... and I want that ringtone! Mulder *falls on a bed of nails* Scully: Are you okay? Mulder: It's more comfortable than the futon!
allibaz91 Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 I so knew you were gonna quote the futon one I forget the episode name, but there was one where they were at a "freak show" ..... Some "freak" guy did some sort of trick on Mulder. Then the pair were walking away, and Scully pulled an egg or something from behind Mulder's ear. Scully: My uncle was an amateur magician Mulder: Everybody's uncle was an amateur magician Mine wasn't
Reo Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 My favourite quote is from The Goldberg Variation.. Mulder falls through the floor into the room below.. Scully: Mulder, are you all right? Mulder: It's OK. My ass broke the fall.
allibaz91 Posted June 19, 2007 Report Posted June 19, 2007 Lol that is rather funny ...... I have to say, I love all the oldies! The later conspiracies are totally awesome, and the last episode is AMAZING, but the old episodes where they're getting to know one another, and there's Deep Throat, and lots of banter and stuff ..... oh, I love them!
emmasi Posted June 19, 2007 Report Posted June 19, 2007 Also, emmasi, have to point out - I remember why I was sure it was Trust No-One! Thanks for that . But I never disputed that it was SAID "Trust no one," I just thought it might have been spelled differently to have a double meaning I wish I could remember an amusing quote... all I'm getting is that bullfrog song again
allibaz91 Posted June 19, 2007 Report Posted June 19, 2007 Lmao amusing quotes ............... Well I do LOVE "Jose Chung's From Outer Space" - the spoof from season 3 JACK SCHAFFER: You know what happens to most people after seeing a UFO? MULDER: They experience "missing time." JACK SCHAFFER: Any number of "soft option kills" will do... nerve gas... low frequency infrasound beams... Hell, with high-powered microwaves, you can not only cut enemy communications, you can cook internal organs. MULDER: But abductions? JACK SCHAFFER: Don't know as much about them. I'm just the pilot. You ever flown a flying saucer? Afterwards, sex seems trite. That one amused me
Bellsy Posted June 19, 2007 Report Posted June 19, 2007 Scully: Have you ever had any dealings with a cow? Mulder: Agent Scully, just exactly WHAT are you implying? Dont ya just Muldy?
