A great chapter! I like the Sally and Peter pairing in this storyline. Peter is very logical and level headed; Sally's knowledgability must be rubbing off on him.

Please update soon with a bit more Rocco, Cassie + Rachel!!

FLETCHER HOME

Sally and Peter are sitting on the couch. Rocco and Cassie come in.

ROCCO:

Hey guys.

SALLY:

Hey.

CASSIE:

We just saw Ric and Mattie... are they okay?

SALLY:

Yes... why?

CASSIE:

They looked a little stressed?

SALLY:

Yeah... Peter, you wanted to show me the brochures.

PETER:

What bro... oh! Yeah... we'll be back guys! Be good.

Grabbing hands, they leave the house quickly.

Rocco shoots Cassie a quizzical look.

ROCCO:

That was weird.

CASSIE:

Yeah, you're telling me!

ROCCO:

Oh well. Maybe they thought we deserved some alone time...

He pulls Cassie closer, kissing her tenderly.

HOLDEN/HUNTER HOUSE

TONY:

What?

MATILDA:

Look, I know this is a bit of a shock, but...

TONY:

A bit? You're sixteen years old Mattie! You're nowhere near ready to have a child! Do you know what that takes out of you?

MATILDA:

We know it won't be easy, Tony. But it happened and there's nothing we can do about it. We just have to deal with this.

TONY:

How do you plan to do that?

MATILDA:

Well...

There is a knock on the door. Tony stands up to get it. Mattie and Ric look at each other and Pippa blows a bubble and giggles.

Tony comes back, followed by Emma.

EMMA:

Oh, I hope I'm not interrupting anything.

TONY:

Not at all. We're going out to dinner, kids.

He picks up his jacket and walks out with his arm on Emma's elbow. Matilda frowns when they leave.

MATILDA:

What is that?

RIC:

Looks like Tony made a friend.

MATILDA:

How can he be with someone so soon after mum?

RIC:

Mattie...

MATILDA:

It's... it's pathetic! How dare he?

RIC:

Mattie, should you get upset? With the baby and all...

MATTIE:

I guess not. I want a pineapple.

RIC:

You don't eat pineapple.

MATTIE:

Well I want one.

RIC:

Right... I think we have some back home. Come on.

They go to the Fletcher Home again.

THE HOSPITAL

Leah is asleep. Dan is asleep in the chair next to her. Rachel walks in.

RACHEL:

Dan? Dan!

DAN;

Hmmm? Oh, sorry Rache. I fell asleep.

RACHEL:

Yeah I see that. You should go home. Get some rest.

DAN:

I want to be with her.

RACHEL:

She needs you to be rested. It's going to be like this for months, Dan. You can't crack now.

DAN:

I guess you're right. Thanks Rachel.

He slowly stands up and walks out.

Rachel looks down at Leah with a sad smile.

RACHEL:

Bye Leah.

She walks out. Just before she exits the hospital she collides with a male figure.

RACHEL:

Sorry!

TYLER:

Watch where you're going!

RACHEL:

It was an accident!

She looks down at him and notices blood on his shirt.

What happened?

TYLER:

I need to see a doctor.

RACHEL:

I can see that. Follow me.

TYLER:

What are you a nurse or something?

RACHEL:

I'm Doctor Armstrong actually.

TYLER:

No. No way is a woman treating me. Forget it.

RACHEL;

Well would you like to bleed to death then?

TYLER:

Okay, fine.

He follows her into a room and sits down on the bed.

RACHEL:

You'll need to take of your shirt.

Tyler takes off his shirt, showing a bad cut.

TYLER:

My stitches started bleeding. I was in a car accident.

RACHEL:

What were you doing when they started bleeding again?

TYLER;

I went for a surf.

RACHEL:

Well you should have stayed quiet for two more weeks... I'm going to replace the stitches.

She starts cleaning the wound and he gasps.

RACHEL:

It could have been a lot worse, you know.

TYLER:

Hmmm. Pretty but tough I see.

Rachel looks up at him with a frown and he smiles brightly.
