ON THE ROAD (Jack and Lara's car) Tyler runs closer and tries to open the front door. With the help of Jack the door is opened and Tyler helps Jack tp get out. TYLER: Mate, are you hurt? JACK: Let me go, get my girlfriend! She's unconcious, she's hurt... TYLER: Right, what's her name? JACK: L... Lara. Tyler gets into the car and bends over Fitzy. TYLER: Lara? Lara, this is Doctor Tyler Hewitt, can you hear me? He gets out of the car and dials a number from his cellphone. TYLER: This is Tyler Hewitt. I need an ambulance. Car accident, woman badly hurt... He is still speaking when Jack suddenly passes out. FLETCHER HOME Ric and Mattie are sitting in the living room. MATILDA: He's just... I can't stand it being there Ric. I'd rather live on my own. RIC: On your own is not an option right now. You're pregnant. MATILDA: Really? I hadn't noticed. RIC: Hey! I'm just trying to help here. MATILDA: Sorry Ric. She sighs. My feet are swollen. I crave weird food the whole time, and I want to puke every five minutes. RIC: That can't be pleasant. Come over here. She sits in his arms and he kisses the top of her head. RIC: Now if I could take some of your symptoms, I would. But the least I can do is promise you that I'll be here for you, okay? MATILDA: Thanks, Ric. They kiss. ON THE ROAD An ambulance arrives and the paramedics all start doing their job. Peter's car also comes driving on. Sally frowns when she sees the car. SALLY: Peter... PETER: It's Jack's car. He stops the car and they both jump out and run forward. SALLY: What happened? TYLER: I don't know... Do you know these people? SALLY: Yes! TYLER: Excuse me please. They move out of the way and the paramedics get Fitzy into the ambulance. Peter holds Sally tightly as the ambulance with Jack and Fitzy drive away. ON THE BEACH Rocco and Cassie are lying in the sun. ROCCO: So this Macca bloke is the guy who hit you? CASSIE: Yeah. ROCCO: Do you reckon he wants you back? CASSIE: I don't know. And I don't care either. I want you and no one else. They kiss. AMANDA'S HOUSE Drew is sitting next to Amanda. DREW: I'm telling you, I've thought about this. It's the right thing to do. AMANDA: Drew, it's a big step. DREW: I know that. But I love you, Amanda. And the only way that we are going to be able to be together is if we leave Summer Bay. THE DINER Martha comes in. Irene greets her with a smile. Martha just nods and sits down at one of the tables. Irene's cellphone starts ringing. IRENE: Hello? Oh hey, love! This is a surprize! What? You're kidding! That's great! When? Okay, love! Bye! MARTHA: What was that about? Before Irene can answer, Sally and Peter come into the diner. IRENE: What's wrong loves? You look like you've seen a ghost! SALLY: Jack and Fitzy had an accident. MARTHA: What? Is is serious? SALLY: It looks like it... they're on their way to the hospital. Martha jumps up and runs out of the diner.
