Thanks for all the feedback guys! Here is an update:

IN THE HOSPITAL

Martha is sitting on a chair, waiting for someone to come out. She jumps up when nurse Julie does.

MARTHA:

Where's Jack?

JULIE:

Room 6, he's fine.

MARTHA:

That's great! And Fitzy?

JULIE:

Still in theatre.

Martha sits down again as Julie leaves.

THEATRE:

TYLER:

And done... Good job everyone.

NURSE:

Thank you, doctor. You too.

TYLER:

I think...

The machine makes that dreadful peep sound and Tyler looks at Fitzy in horror.

TYLER:

She's arresting, get me oxygen!

The nurse pass him oxygen. They look at each other in fear as he prepares to shock her back to life.

FLETCHER HOUSE

Peter and Sally are sitting on the couch. Peter is holding Sally.

PETER:

I've I'd just realized that something was wrong...

SALLY:

Peter, there's nothing you could have done.

PETER:

But...

SALLY:

Stop blaming yourself for the accident! And for not figuring out what Jack was trying to say. None of this is your fault, okay?

PETER:

Yeah.

SALLY:

Stop that!

PETER:

What?

SALLY:

You're still thinking that you could have done something!

PETER:

But maybe I could have. If I figured out what he was trying to say...

SALLY:

Tyler was there before us, and even if you did figure it out, he would still have been there before us! Come on, Pete... You know there was nothing you could have done.

PETER:

Yeah... I guess you're right.

SALLY:

What are you talking about, I'm always right!

They kiss. Mattie and Ric come in.

RIC:

Hey hey!

SALLY:

Oh... hi guys.

RIC:

Sal... there is something that Mattie and I want to talk to you about.

SALLY:

Okay...

MATTIE:

Just... don't freak out or anything but...

RIC:

We decided to get married.

IN HOSPITAL.

JACK'S ROOM.

Jack is lying in his bed, staring at the ceiling. Tyler comes in.

TYLER:

How are you?

JACK:

Fine. Where's Fitzy?

TYLER:

I'm sorry mate... She... she didn't make it.

JACK:

What?

TYLER:

She arrested on the operating table and we couldn't bring her back. We tried everything... I'm really sorry.

JACK:

Get out.

TYLER:

Mate...

JACK:

Just leave!

Tyler nods and leaves. Martha comes in. Jack doesn't even look at her. She rushes forward and grabs his hand.

MARTHA:

Jack! I'm so glad you're all right!

He ignores her and she frowns a little.

MARTHA:

When I heard... I was so scared! You know how much I still love you, Jack.

JACK:

Get out.

MARTHA:

What?

JACK:

Fitzy just died! And here you are telling me that you love me?

MARTHA:

Jack I didn't know...

JACK:

What? Did you expect me to forget about everything that's happened?

MARTHA;

No...

JACK:

I never want to see you again! Just go!

Martha starts crying and runs out.

IRENE'S HOUSE.

There is a knock on the door. She walks forward to open it.

HOLDEN HOUSE

Tony is sitting in the living room. Emma is sitting next to him.

EMMA:

Give her time, Tony. I'm sure she'll come round. It's pregnancy hormones.

TONY:

I don't know, Em. It feels like I don't know her anymore. She's like a daughter to me and now...

EMMA:

Look, try and talk to her again. Just...

TONY:

What?

EMMA:

Be more supportive.

TONY:

She's having a child at sixteen! How can I support that?

EMMA:

Look, I know it's not ideal. But at least they are trying to do the right thing now. Just give them a chance, okay?

ON THE BEACH.

Martha is running forward. She falls down on the sand crying. She looks up when she feels a warm hand on her shoulder.

MARTHA:

Tash! You're back!

Great update. I hope Jack is going to cope with Fitzy's death ok. He seems to be pushing everyone away. Im glad Tasha has come back and it will be interesting to find out what brings her back to the bay.
