Tonight was a much needed reminder - ALL is not lost...

Yeah, I'll take back part of what I said last night - I'd like to see a well-developed soap bitch, maybe a Sami Brady, but I'm not optimistic about getting more from Nic.

I'm hating Paul right now, and what's worse is that I hate to hate him, as opposed to early 2007 when I loved to hate him. He deserved that shot from Steph more than she knew.

One word, that I never expected to say in such a wondrous context ever again: NEDDEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! ^_^ ^_^ ^_^

Actually, two words... Rebecka :(

I have to ask again, when did Carmella and Elle become mortal enemies?! In no way did Elle steal Oliver from Carmella, she made more of an effort to keep away from him than Carmella did to keep them apart. And Carmella didn't seem to resent it when she was there for Elle when Paul was in a coma. Even when Elle and Oliver were together the first time, Carmella didn't show this kind of hostility, and she's never considered Elle a monster. This last week has totally come out of nowhere.

I thought so too, but I so often tune out when Carmella's around that I thought I might have missed something.

There were areas of tonight's episode that were truly painful. Not to be racist, but since Marco thinks it's the entire core of his character, I could call them "Italian" moments. That being anything involving Marco, Carmella, or Carmella2. Seriously, it's a sad state of affairs when I look to Carmella for relief from bad acting... Carmella2 sounds like she'd be more at home on this season's Blue Water High  And she can take that kid who speaks in fractured syllables with her... you know the one... the one who's only there because his parents didn't want him to be left out of his talented brother's success <_<

Random question, but does anyone happen to know what that song is that they're using for the Nicola/Riley incest promo? It sounds vaguely familiar, like I should know what it is, or I should at least recognise the artist, but I can't think of it.

Wow - I just saw the promo for next week - it's attracted my attention so much Im actually going to watch next week :)

From two storylines in the last couple of weeks, I get the feeling that either Neighbours or HAA is ripping the other off more than usual. First Zeke, Taylah and Brad on Neighbours with Geoff, Melody and Christine on HAA. Then Toadie considers adopting a kid from East Timor the day after Miles decides to foster Jai. What are the odds?!

But I'm loving the storylines right now, especially Taylah and Zeke's relationship. But I noticed one slight continuity error: Rachel didn't seem to have a problem with singing in her first episode. That said, I love that she's listening to Taxiride.

I didn't even notice that one, but now that you mention it, that is pretty lame. For one thing I'm not sure that they let single people adopt kids, so I raised an eyebrow at that. Maybe they do, I don't know. But yeah, that's definitely a rip off of Jai. Miles has been talking about him for months, way before Toady decided to randomly go to Timor. (Although, having said that, where exactly has Sally ended up using her professional skills to help orphans???)

Why don't they just merge to two shows together and be done with it?

Nice episode tonight, liked it all!

The new producer Susan -name escapes me- 's stuff is now what we are seeing, so I'm looking forward to how we go from here, its already picked up the last few episodes imo. Plus I've seen much more advertising at peak time this last week, which should be positive.
