Well the return was a big let down.

I dont understand. They dont like to do big dramas like H&A do but when they do one they completely ruin it.

I am interested about Carla's new married bloke though.

Yeah I haven't enjoyed it much to be honest. And the promo for todays which I haven't watched didn't look very interesting either. I thought they did well in the last few months of 2008 but 2009 so far has been a let down. Hopefully it will become interesting again soon.

I now have no more sympathy for Steph than I did for Libby. First her treatment of Sam, which might have been fine if a year ago she hadn't been the one trying to convince Libby to let go of Drew and give Darren another chance. Her storyline with Greg raised her a bit, because she really wasn't the bad guy. But I didn't like how she reacted to the hospital's mistake, it was not their fault that she didn't know he had allergies.

Toadie and Callum are brilliant at the moment, but I still want to know why Toadie refused to give Sam her job back. If it was just him taking Libby's side, I think if it was totally out of character, given that he, too, would have been Libby's voice of reason a year ago.

I like Kelly, but I don't know why she though telling Karl would help at all. But I'm glad he's moved from one stage to the next, instead of allowing her flashes to keep him in his state of denial. Alan Fletcher has brilliant for the whole of the last two weeks.

IPU, I hate "Sass," she's an obvious rip-off of Jazz but without any capacity for guilt and without Rachel Gordon's talent.

And damnit, I do not want to see Sam treated like dirt for what she, in all probability, did not know about. Plus, I'm still not convinced that the baby's size rules out Dan - remember Kerry?

And I hate what's happening to Donna and Ringo, the single best couple that came out of last year.

Still, Sam and Margot's performances were excellent, and I love the song that was played during the cleanup, mainly because it was used in Look Both Ways, one of my favourite hyperlink movies. And, to quote an ancient Betelgeuse death anthem "After this, things can only get better."

It's highly unlikely that they would use that storyline again.

Why don't Sam and Rebecca just get together and raise Sam's baby, and that way it won't matter who the father is because it will have two mummies :)

Donna's mother is a cow. I resent her being referred to as a "cyclone" - that's Josie's tag, damn it! And as for the comparison to Jazz... I know you didn't mean anything by it, but the very suggestion makes my skin crawl >.<

I don't want to see Sam strung up for this either. It's just going to be an infuriating exercise in "Libby was right! You ARE a horrible person! Get out of our town!!" And if there's two things I don't want to see, it's Libby being praised for anything, and Sam leaving <_<

Meanwhile, Zeke.

Choosing to forget that I partially know the outcome of the storyline, because I'd rather stick to speculation...

*I* haven't given up on him! I think it's much too soon to be packing all his stuff up and giving it away! Accepting someone's death doesn't mean erasing any memory that they ever existed. What's wrong with keeping his room the way it is for a little while, just until the shock wears off and you can actually decide whether there are things that you'd actually like to keep, rather then chucking it all out in a knee-jerk reaction of "acceptance"? If anything, I would think that that's unhealthy. It's just another way of not dealing with the situation by trying to make it go away as fast as possible.

I feel so sorry for Donna. How dumb can Ringo be? Why would Zeke be taking stalker photos of Donna if they had a relationship?? Duh! Don't you think he'd be seeing her a little more close up than that ? And it was so obvious that she was being sarcastic - no one would react like that for real. They'd apologise and beg and plead to be forgiven, they wouldn't shout it out proudly and taunt their wounded boyfriend further. Ringo is an idiot if he doesn't realise that, and I don't know what he hopes to gain by believing that his dead friend and his girlfriend were getting it on. It's not like Zeke is much competition anymore, is he? Stupid Ringo...

^ Sorry, Jem, that comparison wasn't meant to be disparaging to Jazz, but it's hard not to notice the comparisons - both involved in money-making schemes that involved seduction, blackmail, and manipulating and controlling their children. And considering their supposedly sexy shortened names, I'm convinced that Sass was created as a thinly-veiled copy of Jazz, but with no understanding of why she was a great character. For starters, that one scene where, having broken up Cassie and Jules, she was evidently remorseful upon realising it was Cassie's birthday. Also, she had Rachel Gordon, who made it clear she did love Drew and put me on her side when Morag sabotaged her plan to get her share of her mother's inheritance.

And, to quote an ancient Betelgeuse death anthem "After this, things can only get better."

I spoke too soon. :( I would have given Paul more credit.
