The current teen gang would have to be the best one they've had since the end of 2007, before Ringo and Rachel broke up. Ringo and Donna, Zeke and Sunny, Declan and Bridget - three of the best couples on the show.

The surrogacy storyline is intriguing, but it's hard to take any interest in it when it focuses so heavily on Libby and Susan. Did Irene and Fin ever have this kind of trouble?

Irene and Fin didn't have all the press etc There's was quite straight forward actually.

I'm enjoying the surrogacy storyline - I don't think it is just to heavily focused on Susan and Libby, the entire family are involved, Karl and his professional conduct about to be questioned, Zeke feeling ''out of place'' and not included! Then Paul and Elle are involved in this current situation quite predominantly, and Lucas and Dan have there involvement too! That's one of the aspects of it that I'm enjoying, how quite a few cast members seem to have some sort of link!

I have to say although there are plot holes in terms of history with the Robinson kids - the characters themselves are being written really well Imo and casting have chosen a great bunch of ACTORS!!

Neighbours is in great shape at the moment, loads of comedy - Susan and Karl's Blue Box has given us loads of recurring comical moments its like a story arch within itself! haha I also really enjoy the little touches with continuity that ARE noticed and appreciated, like Rebbecca's subtle reference to Steve's chocolate addiction that we have probably heard of about 5 times throughout his 2 year stint!

Last night's scene between Susan and Harry was excellent quality, writing, acting, music - a sad moment with a sense of poignancy! Great show!

I had no time for Harry at all, and had been mocking his hair at the start of the episode. Then he started playing one of my favourite songs, and crying, and I had an instant compassion for him that I would not have thought possible. It was amazing how fast my feelings changed, because I'm not usually one to be won over by a few tears, but I think the combination of that, and seeing a real soul behind his belligerent character, was so raw and realistic. I never saw it coming.

Oh yes, Neighbours is on a role at the moment. I liked how Wednesday's episode was directed, some really nice Dec/Brdige scenes. What I like is how Neighbours haven't practically told the audience what to expect weeks in advance (yea I have checked out the spoilers). Home and Away ALWAYS have to be cliched and predictable before a big storyline is about to happen, or romance or whatever, they always have to include a glance or state the bloody obvious or emphasis something we never see purely for plot reasons so that we can make a contrast when a disaster occurs...to me thats pretty basic writing and annoying. Ok, this is a Neighbours thread. Great storytelling anyway and some strong character moments with Dan and Susan this week, to help flesh out the storyline and move things along naturally! Nice comical moments with Todie, Lucas and Elle too!

I feel so bad for Declan :( I kind of wish the ads leading up to this hadn't implied that Bridget was going to die, because I'd like to be hopeful that she's survived the car crash, even though of all the people that ad was threatening to kill off, she's probably my least favourite lol. Then again, it could be a huge mislead, and Libby will be hit by a bus tomorrow!! (That'd put a new twist on the surrogacy storyline!)

I like that it was a horse that Steve had to avoid and not another car. It fit nicely with him being a vet, I thought, trying to avoid hurting an animal. Still, I don't think even an animal hater would want to deal with a horse on their bonnet, kicking out their windscreen... I've heard horror stories...

I am personally disappointed that Steve wasn't killed instantly, and that we are being forced to deal with the crash through his eyes, but you get that.

I think they've done that deliberately so that the real crash stuff can kick off on Monday when the ratings will be higher, so those that miss Thursday and Friday dont miss anything too important and give the chance to show off a bit when the show gets its ratings at the first part of next week.. I also liked how he swerved to avoid the horse it was a nice touch.

Some good Susan/Todie moments again today and nicely played scenes with Harry and Dec!

You know what's weird? It was only after Riley left that the Parker family started to really go downhill.

They started loosing me when Nicola arrived, too much happened to them in such a short space of time without allowing us to actually get to know them properly. I liked them throughout 2007 with the Didge/Susan storyline and then first first half of 2008. I think they should have given them more lighthearted stuff, they worked better when they had the more ''daggy'' storylines and sub plots imo, like when they took that kangaroo Joey out and released him and Didge started running, first time without her crutches. I also enjoyed there comical moments more too, Miranda being ditzy and overly mumsy it was daggy, and Steve's recurring chocoloate addiction and banter with Rebecca..
